I think you can watch the feature on the TG website...

Nice one mate, is it a big article? Worth buying?
-
I wouldn't be too impressed with that job looks like the car has celulite..! Wouldn't it be down to whoever painted it rather than the expensive paint though?
-
I reckon you'd be doing well to take one of a 4motion (like Jay's one anyway) and adapt it, most of that is the inlet manifold anyway. Would probably be easier to build one from scratch! There might be certain engines that have covers that are roughly the right shape though. I think the biggest problem will be having the oil cap in the right place, then you'll need to be able to locate the HT leads underneath. Plus it would have to be quite low profile or you'll need to start hacking parts of the bonnet off. Perhaps the best chance is to get a large cover and cut it up then stick it back together in a suitable shape! :)

AFAIK that's about it... :)
-
Lovely, I keep saying it but grey is so good on a C. Think that's probably the nicest aftermarket sterring wheel i've seen but it looks big in that picture, how big is it?
-
Oh yeah... I didn't even know about that one, never used it!
-
Good point. Could just top up with something else... or.... £70 on oil... grrr!
-
I don't think they are very easily replaced, it's all sort of integrated into the light housing. You could probably buy some kind of squishy rubber stuff to run around the bit where the lens butts up. STORM 2, 2 screws I believe..? :)

Yeh you'll need to remove the whole headlight. Flip the bonnet and it's all pretty self explanitory. 2x bolts per light to remove the units, unplug them obviously. Then the plastic trim unclips, finally remove the metal clippy things and the glass lens comes off, be careful you don't drop it. I'd do it all on a towel or something! As far as seals go i'm not sure, the metal clips insure that the seal is tight, you might need to adjust these to create a proper tight fit. HTH.

Sounds like a deal to me! 1x Silk Pro S ordered! :)

LOL - mint tofos are horrible by the way, mint aeros are nice! double-6s, i'm guessing 24v's have air and oxygen sensors of some sort so you'll prob need them as well. But I am guessing so PM one of the above...

Anyone looking for a VR lambda, I will (hopefully) have a VAG one for sale in a week with less than 2k miles on it.

Intruiged by the bodyshop near Watergate, will they do paintless dent removal as well d'ya know pip?
-
Yeh it's to compete with these silly little 'superminis' that seem to be selling well at the mo. Swift, Jazz etc. Lupo was too big I suspect. What size wheels are those 10"?!
-
10/10 for trying mate but that is exactly why I haven't attempted mine, you just know it's one of those jobs where you'll end up worse off than when you started!
-
Yep, I will definately be going the retrim route, hopefully this year but if my girlfriend finds out how much it costs cow wont be the only dead thing in my car!
-
I'd like to go as well but i'd rather drive someone elses car! Writing off my C in the middle of Germany would not be nice at all!
-
I think he's refering to the one that went for £1400 recently on fleabay. That's cheaper than average though! So you changed your mind about the 12v then double-6s, shame really. ;) EDIT: Oh and it sounds like a pretty good price to me, for low miles like that.

http://www.the-corrado.net/wiki/index.p ... ear_Lights Use Savage spray if I were you, there is also a guide on http://www.corrado-club.ca for black indicators which has pics.

Looks very nice indeed, I would have thought the buyer will be wanting the badges though, no?
-
IIRC kev had to rub his off after being stopped by the cops..
-
Also you will fail your MOT if your indicators aren't flashing orange...
