Flat faced IMO, I like the Azev A's, they don't fit on a VR6 for some reason though... :(

It's easy and seeing as this is a lights thread i'll do a brief summary... Take out the lights (two nuts per light), Unclip the plastic trim then take off the glass by unclipping all the clips around the edge. Get some Hammerite smooth black paint and carefully paint all the 'ribbed' silver bits. Put it all back to gether and you're done. Really easy.

Aye, luckily it doesn't happen very often... unlike jumping over police roadblocks which is a daily occurrence!
-
Holy moly, lucky you haven't driven through any fire recently!
-
Sweet, I would go for all red rears to match your calipers though. Is it lowered slightly? Looking really good :thumbleft:

:x Subtle modifications is the name of my game, it's not all about being 'low and phat'... ;)

This one might help... http://the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewtopic.php?t=33853 EDIT: Beaten to it by the pro... :)

Are we talking Optima batteries here? If so check out this thread.

Good plan :) Just have to avoid indicating near the law in the meantime!

Ah but that pic was taken 30 minutes ago after the green bulbs were fitted. They are less red now but still too red!
-
*tantrum mode* But I don't want to remove it! I like them the way they are!! What about if I masked them up except for a few thin lines and carefully used some nail polish remover? Or if I just scored lots of thin lines down to the orange... Picture of it... makes it look even worse!
-
Ugh... bit late for that now though. I wonder could I carefully cut out thin strips of the paint.. yeah right!
-
280mm?? So that's slightly larger than a CD?! Have you got a pic of it in situ?
-
Painted my bulbs today and just refitted them. Not much difference TBH, if any. They are flashing a very dark orange and there is not much in it between them and the red rear lights. Oh well. Will I fail the MOT on them?
-
Ah ok. In that case no - that shouldn't happen. Don't know why it would but it must be some kind of electrical fault, perhaps the switch on the stalk is knackered..?

Welcome to the forum! I'll let someone else answer no.1 as I haven't done a rad change personally. 2. Yes, it will automatically wipe when you press the rear washer. 3. Standard VR6 brakes aren't all that good. Assuming you haven't got a problem with them (might need bleeding, new pads/discs?) you might want to consider upgrading to MK4/Seat (etc.) 288mm brakes & Calipers on the front, they make a big difference. Or if your wheels will allow it even go for the 312mm TT brakes. Do a search for more info and check out this thread. Hope that helps. :)

Looks like a fat man in spandex IMO, never a nice sight...! :)

Do a search mate, has been discussed a lot. I'd go for standard NGK ones but I think Golf 16v ones work as well and they're cheap. NGK ones are BKR5EKU or BKR5EKUP (Platinum - longer life) http://www.sparkplugs.co.uk

I agree, i'm not a fan of debadge grills, I just think it needs to be one or the other, IMO.
-
Thanks Talc, it's you and your perfectly lowered car's fault i've got to do this anyway! :) Will I need a wheel allignment afterwards then?
-
The red one would look better debadged, if that's your bag. The front just looks far to busy with all those badges and a red grille.
-
:( That's not very nice. He'll probably have written it off within the month though
-
Stupid, those rims would be knackered in no time!

Go two tone! Strawberries & Cream! :)
