They wouldn't send someone out to check, they just wouldn't payout if you had an accident. I was considering not declaring a couple of mods on my car to save £1-200 but I did in the end, worth it for the piece of mind IMO. :)

In perfect conditions (cold, empty fuel tank, correct gear changes etc.) it probably will get near to 6 secs. Manufacturers always underquote 0-60 & BHP figures anyway don't they? The new R32 is quoted at 6.4 but I bet it can do better than that. I thnk part of the reason that the VR6 is faster than the G60 to 60 is because 60 is obtainable in 2nd gear in the VR, so the gearing comes into it as well. Besides, when do you ever accelerate from 0-60 as fast as you can?? A better figure would be 50-80 or something.. :)

Wow, that is pretty crazy, when it jerked up at the end I would have jumped off! I often wonder the devestation a car would cause if it jumped off the rollers with the wheels doing 130mph!

Erm (might be me being stupid) but what do you mean by fuel distribution unit? Also I think you posted in the wrong section unless your car is distributing fuel outside the car! ;) :)

I'm not saying french cars look good, they don't and that was why I made the comment about the Corsa! I don't think the MK5 looks great either (maybe with the exception of shiny black - most cars look good in black though ;) ) and certainly not better than the Corrado, which was the original comment. I am however sure that they are great cars to drive and obviously engineered well, it's just (unfortunately) conforming with this now generic hatchback 'look', the MK4 didn't. Apparently this is due to safety standards turning all cars into the same car though! :) Moral of the story, french cars look crap. :lol:

If you have a look at the Knowlege Base for Corrado specs you will see that the 1.8 16v & G60 were released in May 1989 :) There were pre-production and press cars around before that though.

Generaly I doubt you will get more MPG from a higher RON fuel but depending on what car you have (VR6 definately, not sure on others) you should get better performance...
