  1. So if he pays for them, he should expect to get them?
  2. Try doing it with the 9855R then, and it's glidetouch menu! It's taking a bit of getting used to.

    Bleedin Kerbs!

I'll have some speedies up for sale, just gotta decide on a price (and how to get them to the UK)
  4. So my brakes sit like this, with the calipers pushing in an off central position, shall I look into repacing the hub?
  5. Yeah, I can visually see they are off, and I'm fairly sure it is the hub as we had uneven pad wear on the pads that came off i.e the pad had about a mm more wear on one end than the other (and upside down on the other side).
  6. Might take the n/s brake to bits again to see if it is the hub or the caliper. A straight rule against the holes for the carrier bolts. Hub was only replaced a year ago. Could it have bent with the wobble from not being tight enough?

    Bleedin Kerbs!

I managed to hit a 1 1/2 foot high wall while reversing the other night :( 6 inch scrape along edge of rim. I guess I don't have the option of using one of the UK companies, so I'll have to get it done somewhere over here. 3 times I scraped my wheels, and all when I've been in England :(
  8. We just bent the guard out of the way too. Pity some numpty had not done our hub anywhere near tight enough. My disk was wobbling quite a lot until we tightened it up. Had a bit of an alignment issue on the n/s - something is not straight and the calipers are sitting at a slight angle (maybe a mm or so) - so either my brakes are bent or my hub is.
  9. Oh and a MASSIVE thanks to Kev as well for fitting my Schrick. Top man
  10. I think the trouble is that I am going to want one now as well! Maybe next year after I've paid off my Audioscape bill!
  11. Ther standard rears are ok though, undo the bolt on top to release the tension and there's no probs.
  12. What you guys think? I think it's ugly. http://www.gtrproto.com/
  13. Doing a Mk1 Golf GTi tonight . (9PM DiscRealTime)
  14. You said that you could see f*ck all even with the just bloke behind you. If I can't see I slow down.
  15. I'll quite happily drive at 30MPH or less in poor visibility.
  16. Thinking about it as well they have resurfaced the fastest bit so it's a lot smoother.
  17. Only 120mph up there? Must be your extra weight Kev as I've had 130mph ;)
  18. Hehe, I bet you wouldn't catch him doing it on one of our (many) foggy days up on the mountain though, which is pretty much the same visibility as Ronin seemed to have.
  19. The stud and nut are kinda rusty, not sure if i'l get another nut to go on the thread if I replaced it.
  20. Cool, that's what I thought.
  21. Not sure if it's engine or exterior.... the earth strap from my bonnet has snapped, do I need to find a replacement or will it be fine without?
  22. This is quite handy to see what other wheels will fit your car: http://www.carlsalter.com/wheel_fitments.html
  23. They have the Stig over here too! Apparently he was doing a timed run over a part of the TT course in the Porsche.
  24. Cool, I'm down at Kev's on Thursday/Friday, so if you could 'ave em by then it would be awesome  If not I'll get some washer set-up like Dinks'.
