Not great at the minute, but getting better. There taking alot of miles to bed in. Hi Spec reckon 300miles but i've done 600ish this weekend including heavy traffic through islington, hackney, blackwall, dartford and theres still machining marks on the disk faces. As a driver i'm very easy on the brakes but murder tyres.

Wait til you see the PVW pics. There bloody awesome, they really went to town on it. Think its in the July issue on sale in june.
-
i'll go for the first one. Has more life to it for me.
-
Done about 600miles this weekend but most of it was motorway so still don't feel bedded into me yet. But there very progressive and not grabby like i feared. Pic below, very pleased with the looks of em' original order gold but chabged my mind and plumbed for an understated polished/bright anodised. Also pics of an awesome 600bhp RUF or Gemballa.

they towed mine away, if they want it they come prepaired.
-
Mine are quiet, maybe because there bedding in? BTW, i'll post pic's of the brakes fitted after GTi Fest this weekend.

Sickened, happen to my previous C. Worst part was getting my current VR and constantly being on edge, checking every 5mins its still there. At first you just want it back and hope the damage in minimal, then i got to a point where i didn't want to see it ever again. They found mine in the end but i never went to see it. Important thing is, don't let the b*stard rob you of your hobby. Get another and start again.

Depends how you define sinusoidal, to me mine disc holes are in a series of waves out from the centre.

The turbonator - anyone heard of this for their RADO?

 35bhp for £70. -
Quick pic, new brakes are on :D here's how they compare to the old discs. Only been on an hour so i'll have to post pics tomorrow, in daylight.

Candy is cool. But mega expensive and very hard to do. Go to a bodyshop with experience of candy paints.

Are your displays on permanently?
-
yes it does, so you just connected it and bingo?

Just connecting mine up, a voodoo 1.2F with digital readout. Came with no instructions, remember a few year ago my brother fitted a basic cap to readout or pcd and that needed a resistor between power and the + on the cap on the first charge. Just wondering if i can run mine straight away or need to get a resistor. Its secondhand so will have been powered up before.

5years too late buddy, only ever seen them on one other C tho' and it was an american one for vortex

Hard to say. Its more of a case of reshaping the carriers. On the back of the wheel the curve of the spoke into the mounting hub is the bit that touches. Also my pads were well worn when i had mine on so the caliper may need a couple of mm off.
-
Have you fitted these brakes yet? Pics? Think about a set of these myself but worried about the 20% re-stocking charge if they don't fit. thanks.[/quote:dd030] Not on yet :( I was supplied with the wrong bolts and the brackets needed re-tapping and spacer made to move them inwards 2mm. Ohh and the hoses where the wrong length and i've been waiting for the replacement parts since tuesday. Bit of a disaster really considering i've got a PVW shoot in 8days. Rear brakes are done and chromed splash guards fitted. Need to get chromed rear calipers now will be a pain.
-
don't worry, told chris hold to get them on. There actually a Mk4 fitment and not listed for a corrado.
-
Absolutely must be the best kept wheel secret. a cool wheel that packs the arches, suits the C and is affordable. Will suit the car perfectly. Shame they don't fit corrado's. Give me a shout when you get them Chris and i'll tell you how to get them on.
-
Still a nice set of wheels. Keep meaning to sort mine out but never have the time. Two of them are as new, front two need the dishes re-polishing and laquering from the driveway incident.
-
They should be fine, you may have to shave the caliper mounting bracket if there similar to my old rims. I'm now running ET23 and its made no difference to the handling compared to ET33 i was running last week.

White spirit is faster then T-Cut.

See about that
