Hey Jon, Just had a quick look - 30 posted seems to be the going rate for these? Let me know Cheers Phil

Hi, Have had these for years as they came with the car when I bought it 11 years ago, but replaced then with carpet mats shortly afterwards! The drivers side still has the clip that attaches to the seat too. If you're interested I'll check postage costs as they're pretty heavy! Cheers Phil

Sounds good - it's actually my drivers side that is in the worse state so that may sort me out entirely! Pm with your payment details.... Cheers Phil

Look good! How much are you after for the spare set and what sort of condition are they in as this may be needed for my next mot! Cheers Phil

As long as you run the engine in properly, I'd expect a lot of miles on a stealth rebuild. Had mine done in stages (!) - head rebuild at 100k, bottom end at 140k, still going strong at 183k now.....

Specialist Garage in Midlands? & Potential Engine Conversion help.
pbradley98 replied to Samwain's topic in Engine Bay
You should certainly look up stealth racing in Southam - been taking my vr there for over 10 years now for everything from basic service to full engine rebuild and there's very little they don't know about the vr. I live about halfway between stealth and jabba and used to take my wife's a3 quattro to jabba as they were close to my work - seemed fine but more focused on newer and charged stuff. Hope that helps. -

Yes please! Cheers Vince! I assume that driving a Corrado to the event is written into the t&c's for the lucky winner?!!!! -
Hi Tom, As per pm I've been a muppet so am holding off on this for the moment. Sorry. Phil

Hi I could do with this to help with some trouble shooting - works on the button but seems to get stuck when under auto control, hence don't think it's the mech / motor. Assuming this is in good working order I'll go for it - please let me know payment details.... Cheers Phil

Will a early sunroof cassette work in a late spec car ???
pbradley98 replied to john46's topic in Interior
I tried this without success - I couldn't get the late spec motor to fit the early spec cassette as there is a lug on the late motor that requires a cutout on the cassette, which the early cassette doesn't have. I ended up taking the working mechanism parts out of the early cassette and fitting to my late cassette, as the mechanism (sliders etc) are common. Hope that helps. Cheers Phil -
Another shout out for Chris (Lilfuzzer) - quick delivery and good packaging as usual - cheers mate.

No worries - also definitely recommend experimenting on a spare!

Here you go - with your hand on top of the gearstick it is VERY close - my hand only clears by a couple of mm, but if you change grip there's a good amount of clearance. It's worked for me so far as generally when I'm using it I'm on the motorway, so only using 3rd once to get out of the services back onto the motorway!
-
Yes it is a bit close but it's ok - that was one of my worries... I'll get a pic for you over the weekend...

Looks good! How have you secured the flap shut for when not in use? I've gone with two strips of magnetic tape, so you 'roll' the flap open by pressing the very bottom of the flap below the hinge point if that makes sense....

Another shout for Chris ( Lilfuzzer) - good price packaging and delivery. Cheers!

Good skills! Not convinced that'll work for a can of coke tho! [emoji3]

Great - thanks Chris. Will wait to hear from Alex and let you know....
