  1. ...i made the same mistake, don't forget to get your freak on in time for this weekend (fastest practice laps predictions have to be in before session starts at 5pm UK time!)... and according to most F1 websites it looks like it could be another wet one :)
  2. so for the un-initiated mooks like me, what's the problem with english plates? after all the English law enforcement bods don't seem to give two hoots about the number of foreign plated but UK based cars :cuckoo:
  3. Yeah, drop us a note... I only park round the corner in Arthur Road and walk down to Skandia office in Commercial Road, so know Foyes Corner quite well. Jon
  4. yeah - easy spots... top pic is road into docks next to Dockgate 20 Harley garage and the sun-splashed shots were all in Hythe Marina. may have asked before, but which end of town are you at - Hedge End/Botley way wasn't it? "That ain't no back door, that's a toilet!" Nice C btw ;) :D the spirit of jazz and the hitcher are works of absinthe fuelled genius!
  5. congratulations on the wedding and finding a rare piece of Corrado history!
  6. ride is still good... if a little firm on some surfaces, i hit a dip on the m27/m3 link at the weekend and smacked my head on the roof - trouble with being 6'3" i suppose  in the unlikely event that you're at the opposite end of the country at some point gimme a yell and you can try it for yourself :)
  7. ...i'm having a remarkably similar feeling about mine :D ...and to add to the comments above, that baby looks schweeeeeeet!! :salute: (no, not the cat!)
  8. Been kicking around these parts for a few years now, but never got to sorting a Gallery, so to kick off
  9. bought my VR to replace my old '97 Ibiza Cupra - but ended up keeping both! the Bitsa is the daily hack, damned easy to sling into tiny parking spaces in town, it's much nippier in the traffic and lighter on the fuel too (not heaps mind you, but don't tell my other half as it's the only reason i've been allowed to keep both!)
  10. dammit... slipped two places down again - damn you Vettel!!!! :?
  11. sadly, have to agree... think the C is headed the way of the 'rocco - and just look how cheap you can pick one one of them up for! on the flip side, like others have said it's only lost value if you're selling... so stick in there, there's still plenty of lovin' to be had
  12. I can understand that, had a wobble a couple of months ago too - but prices being what they are, these beasties are worth more to us than they are to someone else. In fact if fuel prices put me off the road and render the car worthless, i'll just polish it up and stick it in a big glass case to remind myself of the good times
  13. Come on then, bring on the pain... how many people went for the patriotic angle and chose all the British drivers??
  14. could they have been the same one, with one having travelled back through time to see itself in the past :cuckoo:
  15. mic_vr your wish is seemingly their command! thanks to demand in the US, the stainless steel rat is indeed coming bank in '08:salute: http://gizmodo.com/gadgets/back-to-the-past/delorean-confirms-new-cars-to-roll-out-in-08-291801.php
  16. ...and we will call him Mini-Chuck, he's just like the real Chuck Norris, but only 7/10ths the size :salute:
  17. ...which is exactly what Hamilton said last weekend  ...hang on, found it:
  18. finally got it together and got in... should have called it Team Aguri Jazzdevil based on how late in the day I am...
  19. Was rather funny  just noticed this over a sniff: http://www.sniffpetrol.com/category/late-news/
  20. At one point (when it spent a prolonged period at my folks place while i was away) mine became 'The Skunk' as it seemed to attract birdsh*t like a magnet... Wife calls it 'the black one' as she distinguishes the fleet purely by their colour (bless) :) As with others it's also been intermittently named all manner of derogatory terms, curiously these occasions tend to co-incide with something not going so well... e.g. 70mph in outside lane of M1 in the lashing rain, en-route to a wedding, when the high speed wipe decided to just park?!!?
  21. You can find more pictures of this here :D http://www.corrado-database.nl/index.ph ... do&id=2427 The only other one I have ever seen is this one, similar theme ...how much does that owner desperately want his car to be an Alfa SZ?
  22. yeah, the wife's not too keen on that option though
  23. Okay, cutting to the chase: I'm thinking about acquiring another car - still has to fit the basic fun and interesting critera that we all seem to use, so do I 'go cheap' and relieve my mate of his very tidy, just over 100k 944 S2 or opt for something newer (and obviously initially more expensive) like a TT? Would appreciate any experiences/opinions other Forum-ites (with nothing better to do than replay to my speculative thread  ) have to add. Cheers.
  24. nah mate - you still haven't given that back yet  anyways, thanks for the info folks... sounds like Saturday morning is already planned out for me then!
