  1. As was said in the first post - Absolutely Awesome - I so would like to be able to have those driving skills.
  2. I have had numerous problems with the upgraded wiring loom, it keeps burning fuses out. And just collected from Stealth to find the full beam which had stopped working was another fuse burnt out. Sadly the Xenons have not arrived, so not yet fitted, but very soon. I do not drive around with Full beam on, just fogs and main beam - just for a few more days - thank goodness.
  3. I am guilty of driving with my fogs on when I have main beam on. I know it drives many people mad. Much of my driving is through unlight or poorly light areas And, i really can't see enough and so decided this is a safer option. I am often flashed ( I wish    ) But then I also see others driving around with their fogs on and personally I find them ok, whereas the blue (xenon ?) lights they are terribly blinding for oncoming traffic. Anyway the car is at Stealth having this rectified right now. :D Along with Braided hoses :D - yeah better braking!!!!!!!!!! Yeah, more speed !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Me too - the quality of the roads really makes my blood boil. :bad-words: Worse since travelling in Germany earlier this year !
  5. What a brilliant day yesterday. Watched Qualifying in the morning - missed it on Saturday, was at the Pod. Race in the afternoon - talk about sat on the edge of the chair, screaming at the TV, I am sure I did most of Hamiltons push on the throttle  Had to then watch the highlights - as it had be enjoyed again. Pleased Hamilton won, felt sorry for Massa though but not Ferrari. I have to say, this years GP has been so much more entertaining and should only get better still next year. I too, in the latter years of Schuy had been getting very bored with no - one to challenge him, so pleased it has all pulled round. I think Hamilton is just taken the wrong way, his matter of fact style is seen as arrogent - shame. Besides the reserve he has is very British, it is always the Latin folk that have more passion and that is what shows and just makes them appear friendlier. Look at Raikanon - Nordic Culture - no expression what so ever. Actually he laughed at the last GP in interview - quite amazing - and so sexy !!!
  6. 996 Cabrio, £14,500 I thought.... Yes, you are right, i missed it - but then again convertable - girls car !!!!
  7. Everytime I open the Corrado Club Page - it says - Sorry this board is currently unavailable - please try later. And, this has been like this for weeks and weeks - any ideas ?
  8. And, not one BMW Z4M, Nissan 350Z, or Porsche 996 !! :(
  9. Hi, i am Wendy and live just 4 miles North of Banbury in Oxfordshire. '96 VR6 - No issues on mine and daily user. !!!!!! Yes, I am SMUG about this !!!! lol Quite a few folk around these parts.
  10. That's annoying, filled mine up last night at Morrisons at 104.99. Might even have to lift my Ban on myself of no racing for journeys to and from work - yippee !!
  11. Damm damm and all that - is it being replayed - do you know?
  12. I swear by 6000 mile oil changes make the difference - well a big part anyway !
  13. Swore at it as i couldn't get the alarm to turn off and my ears couldn't take much more. Had run the battery really low, left the lights on. Doh !!! Now got to get a Jump Start in the morning before I go to work. Hopefully the battery will stilll have some life left in it, so i haven't run down the life of it too !!! Annoying - but then my own fault !!
  14. Bought mine with 82k on the clock, now sitting at 163k By my reckoning that is 81k I have done in mine. 6 years 6 months ownership - average per year approx 12.5 k - pretty standard mileage there then ! 8)
  15. I had a Miltek exhaust fitted to my car a few years back and I completly love it. Despite this - I do approx once a year have to visit Vince at Stealth to have it reset to stop it vibrating. Sadly, i can't remember the differing fixtures he has added, but I know he would always be able to assist if needed. Would have to recommend a Ram Air Filter to go with it though - the sound above 3000 rpm is orgasmic - really.! 8)
  16. You lot are really pesamistic - (can't spell that obvioulsy - but you know what i mean) Am I really the only one who has a good Corrado? :D There must be others - or is it just that I have always sent lots of my hard earned money on my car and so know no different. Its not like mine is low mileage, just turned 160k. This really is one of the best threads ever though - very amusing. Can see some of these being added to my office wall - that's if i can find any space in between all the Porsche's and numerous other car related items. 8)
  17. Z4 Coupe M Series of Course - for me. I like the bigger BMW's, 5 series, but have had a few friends - all male - who had had pretty big accidents with them - letting go at the rear. So, yes, female car - maybe - but the M3 is just brilliant. Roll on Credit Crunch I say - prices dropping like no tomorrow on the second hand market - making everything much more available to me. :) Sorry for anyone trying to sell a car though !
  18. Cetainly a better season than there has been for a long time. I think Alonso did really well, utilising the advantages when things went wrong for others. I too, made a mental note to myself - that is a Grand Prix Track I will be visiting. I think the night race adds a great dimension to the racing. Everyone from Drivers, to all Technical support and Pit Crew living western times in Singapore cannot be easy. Shame Hamilton did not do better, he did seem off colour so to speak, but so did Kovaleinan, so was it the McLaren ? However, I would work for McLaren any day over Ferrari - who in my opinion have their own rules that Bernie and whole FIA seem to role over to. Off now - with my overcoat ...................
  19. I have been without Pc again for a while !! Believe me - give me my Corrado anyway - much less stress and strain. What a fantastic thread - superb :D Come on Dom - can't we make a Calender with these ?
  20. Seems like a Day at Santa Pod is required here ?? !!  Skill I think you mean - Jim !!!!!!!!! But Bravery too  Except not enough to go on the Ring though !!! :( I will one time - who knows Next year maybe :D
  21. Thank you for this prompt Andy, I would have been mortified if I had missed Goodwood on the TV. Thanks again
  22. Ben, Can't wait to see the Exige - def one of the cars on my list :D Re house and Boring - yeah, I was always been told I could'nt live in a house when my friends were argueing this point with me. Which I always replied 'Why not '? Wendy
