Can't see any cracks on that pic, just a filthy wheel. Might just be the angle but is the sidewall bulging as well? Wouldn't have thought the spokes would crack without a serious kerbing / pothole though, and if they are I would have a look on the bay and get the wheel replaced asap.

I agree, charge the valver!

ah yes but the wings are the hardest panel to get hold of! There's a Delorean in the window of the garage next to my local pub, so I see one everytime I look out of the window of the pub 8) Sometimes there's more than one :drinking:

I say red, looks excellent now you've finished it -Neil- 8)

You can only have a light tint on the front windows, the rears can be as dark as you like. Any reputable place will tell you what the darkest tint you're allowed for the front is.

Might also be worth sending a PM to VR6 Glock, he's aiming for 500bhp at the wheels with a BIG turbo

Mmmmm very nice!!! 4-stud aswell :)

well you live and learn, I'd always thought valvers with the armrest had swapped their bench for g60/vr6 rear seats. Pesky VW accountants!

And if you've got a 16v you can get three people in the back, I once had two 16ish stone women and a 12ish stone man sat back there! Was a pretty tight fit mind. Never really had complaints from anyone about the legroom back there though.

When I was in Halls at Uni I lived just down the road from Canal Street in Manchester (biggest gay community in the country after Soho). The C and S were always painted out to leave 'anal treet'

Never heard of Abass' car, so a quick search brought up his members gallery, click here, can't blame the guy for thinking everyone hated it, hardly the warmest welcome for a new member .... even if he did have small ferrari and Tag Heuer stickers on the wing

It's possible, I had a Merc with similar symtoms that was fixed with a new sender.

Maltese crosses, whats the VW connection?

Hmm, wonder if Germans dislike seeing people wearing Lambretta clothes (raf roundel is the logo), or seeing minis with the raf logo on them? After all the RAF did a lot of damage in WW2, especially to Dresden. -
The name of my street is Hooker Close  (And no, it isn't a red light district)

The 2.0 is supposedly easier to tune if you want more power As for the interior, K reg was the changeover year, mine was registered in march 1993 and thankfully has the late interior

Yep it was months of constant pestering from Trigger that made me think they were really sought-after wheels. I do like them though

Sounds like a dodgy fuel level sender unit to me

You could just get the door handle repair kit from daves16v. There's a thread on them in the suppliers section. Here

You generally get what you pay for with suspension, if I were you I'd replace the rear shocks now and save up for some coilovers or H&R springs and Koni shocks

ABS ECU from a 2.0 16v (93 model) into a VR6?
steve_16v replied to scabbyscala's topic in Drivetrain
iirc EDL only works below 30mph and does next to feck all so it wouldn't have prevented the tree incident. Can't really see why you wouldn't be able to use it in a VR6 though, the ABS ECU is a common one found in loads of different cars (laguna's, sierra's etc.). Like Supercharged said though it depends on whether it had EDL because there were four ABS ECU's used in 1993, LHD / RHD, and either with or without EDL. (Oh and I ain't no ABS anorak, I only know this because I was helping at the garage whilst they spent hours trying to sort my brakes out) -
No, but they're a good option if you want to upgrade without cutting holes in your parcel shelf

Oettingers. Can't really understand the obsession certain people have for the speedlines, maybe because I've only seen them in pics.

Watch out, watch out there is an RS4 about
steve_16v replied to Andy Brookes's topic in General Car Chat
There was a program on recently called car wars that followed the manchester high-speed persuit team, they were driving around in scoobys, although they were the lower powered ones without the massive spoiler. iirc there were also vRS's in the car park Looked like a great job to me, driving round in those all day chasing scumbags knowing they can't get away from you unless they're in something special (the only car that got away was an Evo FQ320). There was a similar show about them about 10 years ago and they were driving sapphire cosworths 8) -
So it's nothing to do with a gerbil wearing a magic helmet torch and travelling through mr slave's intestines then? :? tbh I would have thought messing with timing and stuff is best left to a pro
