Really want an idea of price and a supplier of these, 15", standard lip. Where do people get these from?
-
What's your part number for the twin pole sender? I've got one at home and was wondering which one it is
-
Sounds good, I hate cutting up cars but it sounds quite minimal from what you're saying. I'd be interested in some pipes for it if you can get them.
-
Shout out for the TD5 intercooler, got one in my shed that i've been meaning to size up for ages, what are they like to physically fit? Much cutting involved? i'll be interested to see how you get on with the pipe work - keep us posted.

Isn't it the boost return valve? If it is there should be a linkage that connects to the throttle valve. Means that it's stuck open, probably makes a whistling sort of noise and that you're not getting full boost a WOT. PS If it's the linkage you need I may have one

You need to change the brake hoses to some special ones from C+R enterprises, they're about £40 IIRC otherwise straight swap
-
Yep excactly the same got some on ebay at the mo!!
-
You can do it using the babel fish translator on the altavista site, you can make sense of it but it is a word for word translation
-
Spotted this on the bay a while ago not sure if someone's posted it up already. But I would just love to have it
-
Well I stand by my camber setting proceedures lol!
-
Dunno, just set it till the bubble was in the middle. As long as the car is at the same height (left to right) it should work. Not sure how accurate it was but it handled really nicely after and the tyres didn't wear unevenly or anything.

Defineatley can't get them from VAG any more, I don't think a Passat one fits either
-
I set my camber with a spirit level! worked a treat.
-
Where abouts in the country are you?
-
I should have some spare of the correct type at home, I think I got them from you Dec. I'll have a look for you when I get in later.
-
Yeh will do, thanks for the input.

I think it's a gunsons easy bleed, it's just a pipe with a non-return valve on one end. It's not so bad now, there's just a slight bit of seemingly free travel as you push down. It quite drivable and hasn't crunched any gears yet so i think i'll leave it for a bit - see how it goes.

I decided that it would be a good idea to bleed my clutch yesterday. So I connected an easy bleed to the nipple on the slave cylinder and opened it, pressed the pedal down smoothly, did the nipple back up and then pulled the pedal back up. Ensuring at all times that the fluid reservoir was full. I have done this about 5 times now and the clutch bite point is rather low and the is a few mm's of free travel in the pedal before it feels like it's doing something. On the road the gear changes a are notchy indicating that the clutch is not disengaging fully. Anyone know what I have done wrong or how to go abouts bleeding the master cylinder?

I've got a VDO boost one in mine. It goes from 0-15 PSI, perfect for a G60 and looks so standard, it even lights up green!
-
Ahh man, I'm not a fan of cutting cars in anyway! It's an early G60 though.
-
Anyone know which is the best fitting THS I/C for the Corrado with minimal cutting? Any luck finding that guide BTW?
-
Anyone else read that site and think it sounds a bit dodgy?
-
I remember reading once that the press cars came with a black headlining, alot of reviews at the time said that the interior of the car was too dark and so when it came to production the standard headlining colour was changed to the creamy colour we all know and love.
-
It my look a little dodgy, but I still think that it's quite an amazing achievement to make a new car for nearly £1000 and make money on it. Hats off I say.

Cheers, glad someone else found it useful too!
