Yeah i know what you mean it is a difficult colour to keep clean but it also look gorgeous in the summer when the sun hits it cos it shows all thr bluey green metallic flakes in the paint.
-
Yeah i did notice lol. Although its hard to keep it as clean as it is on the banner in this weather :-)

Do you not think it sounded lumpy on tick over, wonder if it had a wild cam in it or something? abosolutely gorgeous car tho.

Spec of my car is as follows: Stage 4 charger, schrick cam, golf fimc, 68mm pulley, stainless exhaust system, induction kit(not convinced. possibly an expensive paper weight lol) and a stage 5 sns chip. To be honest your plot doesnt look that different from mine. il try n get some pics up.

I dont have a scanner bud il see if i can get sum 1 else to do it but it probably wont b til 2moro. On my dyno plot it says peak power was made at 6027rpm.

Sorry guys i know there was a post similar to this a couple of days ago but mines a g60 engine and wasnt sure how it may differ from the 2.0l engine. I have decided to rebuild the engine before i start increase the boost levels on my car. I was thinking either a screw charger or an rs charger with a 65 mm pulley. Knowing my luck this would demolish my engine lol. I was thinking about having it over bored to a 1.9 but wanted to know what other things i should do while its apart. obviously oil pump, water pump, belts etc goes without saying. And also the likes of bottom end sheels etc. Is there anything i need to look out for or anything else i should to while its apart to benefit the engine. Sorry for the long winded post, theres just alot of what if's whizzing round in my head lol

F.A.O darren(GMAN) If you can supply bbm propducts then what sort of money would their screw charger cost. I also would be needing different injectors. Not sure of which size tho. And i also understand that the pipng up of the intercooler is different? Really interested in one of these chargers just looking to find out all the facts before i bite the bullit.

Nice one mate, like the cut out in the front bumper, Never got to appreciate the difference it made on mine as it was already fitted when i bought the car. Nice work!! -
Keep us posted, Thats what i thought get one and keep things sensible till i can afford a rebuild and then start changing pullies. Have heard not to expect any cahnge from two grand tho lol. Gonna e-mail bbm as he might have more of an idea about shipping costs etc.

Thanx for all of the info guys, i think thats just made me want one even more lol. Is it just bahn brenner that do these kits or are they available else where. Just thinking of the import duty. Thanx again.
-
Have any of you had any experience with a Bahn Brenner screw charger. My g60 unit is in need of a rebuild and ive seen the video of there corrado with that charger on and i love the noise it makes. As u's are all probably aware they reckon its more efficient and it also makes full boost at virtually 2000 revs. Also whats maintenance like on them. Just looking into tuning options at the moment so if u can think of any other routes i would like to hear about them. Cheers guys.

soryy dont know the model number but i like the bbs splitties that were fitted to the bmw 850's

Sorrry to hijack this thread. I have a G60 (jims old one). I have a set of 288mm vr6 breaks in the garage. About a 3 months ago i fitted black diamond discs and pads and im not too impressed with them. I was wondering how difficult it would be to fit 312 mm discs to my car, bearing in mind its a four stud. I understand that i would need the discs carriers etc. but where would i stand about fitting them with hub adaptors? cheers guys.

How come your car makes so much boost then , mine makes 15psi on a 68 mm pulley although it is in need of a rebuild (thats why its off the road lol). Does that have something to do with that passat crank pulley you mentioned? excuse my ignorance im preety new to this lol. Sorry to go on but do you think it owuld be a good idea to mix a 65mm pulley with a passat crank pulley. cheers guys
-
Just been on the sns website and noticed it has been suggested on there . Suppose it will be worth a try while the car is in bits. Wot do you think availability of these parts will be like then? Also wort sort of gains do you think you would get , wud it be a worth while mod. cheers guys.
-
I was reading on this forum the other day that if you fit a 3mm larger passat crank pulley it seems to benefit the g60. I cant find the original post as im not that good with computers lol. I was just wondering if it is a worth while change as the cars off the road for the winter and is having some work done to it.

Ahwell its a gud job i havent needed to use it for a while due to the gud ol british weather. lol
-
This is exactly what has happened to mine, its got a 1 inch gouge on the passenger side of the sun roof. anyone know if there are parts available to fix it or would it be easier to replace the full sun roof?
-
would a supersprint 4 branch from a mk2 8v gti fit a corrado g60, as on of my mates is selling one and im thinking about getting it? Also would i have to have the lamba sensor fitted into the 4 branch? Also would the g60 engine run to hot for this manifold and start to cause problems with it, Just curious as to what you guys prefer- a 4 branch or and aftermarket down pipe
-
now you mention that they stooped making corrados in 95 it cant be a 97 engine but the engine code is abv. Its the one with the big single coil pack not the one with the dizzy.
-
cant remember off the top of my head what the engine code is but i think that it is abv, - does this sound about right? i thought the 2.8's had the engine code aaa.
