I got a twelve inch fan from Gwerks, it sounds alot healthier than my old one and made alot more room in the engine bay which made boost pipe work fit better.
-
How did the charger compare with the turbo ur running now? Obviously the figures will be different but how did the driveabilty of the car change. Sorry to hijack by the way.
-
mine was the same, my boost gauge would only read around 8 psi on my boost gauge, but thats keeping it under 4 k. I presume the extra boost will come in between 4 and 6. I noitced that it comes in sooner tho, ure right about the noise aswell everybody looks lol.

Im just running mine in at the mo, my engine spec is no where near urs and it seems to have changed the car a fair bit just using the standard pulley so urs will be a monster. Dont think u'll regret getting one mate.

Door handle repair kit..........THEY ARE NOW AVAILABLE
DANG60 replied to daves16v's topic in Suppliers Forum
My dad orderd me a repair kit off ebay, It didn't come with instructions. From what i can gather u need to remove the pin that holds the brokenpiece in place, but how do you get the pin out without damaging it. Ive read this thread and it looks as though you need to use new pins when fitting the rapair kit. Could any of you point me in the right direction as im pulling my hair out lol. Cheers -
The front fogs on my car, out of the two one works fine, the passenger side doesn't. The fuses are o.k. Im picking up a voltage on the earth wire on this foglite but it hasn't blown the fuse. Theres nothing on the live side. Thie voltage on the earth is only there when the headlights are switched on, i think that the fogs are fed off the headlight and are then fused after the foglight switch. Could it be a dodgy headlight switch as this went and i replaced it with a second hand one. Before this switch replacement both fogs would work but obviously the headlights wouldn't, the fogs were still picking their feed up from the knackered switch. Does anyone have any ideas as im slowly running out lol. Sorry about the long post, tried using the search but couldnt really find anything that fits n their never seems to be 2 faults the same on a C.

mine are speedline comp 2's mate and my brembos fit under them, the only down side is they need balancing on the back as the weights wont clear the calliper lol.
-

Hi there, Im after peoples opinions cos im too indesicive lol. I have a front mounted intercooler (G60) on my corrado but it only seems to have any sort of airflow through the grill but its so much bigger than that. I was wondering what people thought of cutting out the number plate aperture. Ive seen it on some cars and i like it but on other cars i dont. What are peoples thoughts on doing this. Arrrggghhh help lol

Sorry to hijack this 1 but its to do with a similar thing. The plastic bushes on the mini shock absorber are goosedon my car, are these available or is it a new unit. Any ideas on how much they are or if a new unit is required. Cheers -
I went for one aswell mate but again cant tell you what its like as i havent fitted it yet. There seems to be alot of opinions of them on vw vortex. Sum are good and sum are bad but the gud ones seem to outway the bad ones by alot.

Ermm.. ur old g60 has seen 155 on the clock a few times lol that was on a private rd of course. Obviously that was clock speed and i havent accounted for speedo error -
Its erm... Well if i sneezed on it i'd blow holes in it lol. The sides are solid but the middle of it is rotton. Wil probs just make a piece and cut out the rotton part.
-
ouch! lol. may have to make something for it then. cheers...

Ive just removed the front bumper on my C to reveal a rusty panel lol. This panel has the bottom of the slam panel bolted to it and theres also a small metal water pipe that runs through ones isde and goes back through the other. It mounts in the same way that the front cross member does, It isn't a structural part but i would like to replace it. Can these be bought still or is it a case of making a new piece of panel to replace the rusty part?

Yeah thanx sam g60 was considering a genuine one. flusted: after doing a bit of searching mate i read that a bigger than 15 row cooler wont let the oil get up to temp, so was just gonna go for a 13 to be on the safe side lol.
