Thought id drag this back up rather than starting a new thread. Im at the point where im going to be buying a water and oil pump for it. Are there particular makes that people favour and is it a case of you get what you pay for? Also what size oil coolers do people generally fit to their g60s? Thanx again.

Engines done a 110,000. It pulls really well and runs fine. Plugs etc are fine. Was thinking along the lines of crank shells and rod bolts. Didn't know if that type of thing would be worth doing. Im looking to rebuild my engine and increase its capacity when i saved up again lol.

Just ordered a screw charger from darren, whilst in bits I have a new sump gasket to fit, im going to put a new water pump and oil pump on. Can anybody think of anything else that is worth doing whilst my c is in bits. Im on a tight budget now so be kind lol. Cheers everyone...

Only exeprience ive had with them both is i was looking for something to replace the g charger on my car. I enquired about the ihi turbo from jabbasport and they never bothered getting back to me. I phoned daz at g werks about a lysholm and he was very very helpful and told me everything i needed to know. So i choose G werks and will be phoning them shortly to order a screw charger.

Cheers guys, just got a set of brembos with about 1000 miles on em (like new) for 600 quid. Problem solved lol.

Looking for a set of four pots to fit my corrado g60. I know brembos are the obvious ones but ive found a set of wilwoods that are 650+ vat. I just wondered if you guys had any experiences with any other brakes aside from brembos. I dont wanna spend loads so ap's are out of the question. My budgets about £700. These really need doing before i go for more power. Thanx in advance guys.

I got a 15.1 and a 14.9 in my stage 4 g60. Then got abit excited on the last run racing a supra and span the wheels into third and got around the 16 sec mark lol. This was at santa pod and my first time launching the corrado.

Aren't brown wires usually earth on a car? Could well be wrong tho.

Dont think there are vented discs for the bk of a g60. Think some TT's have vented rear discs but think that its hard to convert with the TT's being 4wd. Maybe try the search as i remember this being talked about before, in alot more detail than what ive just said lol.

Im fitting new rear discs, pads and bearings to my c. Ive been trying to wind the pistons back using a pegged spanner from an angle grinder. I can turn ther pistons no problem but they dont seem to be going back. Im turning the pistons clockwise. Does this sound right. Thanx in advance, Dan...

Whats the most embarrasing moment you've had in your corrado

At vw festival last year went to start the c to go home. Thats right it wouldnt start lol. Had to get some people to push me so i could bump it off. Not the best way to start your car infront of loads of vw enthusiasts. lol. -
Worried about it cracking, the cars quite low and the plastic spoiler regularly touches speed bumps around here. Just thought that one thats moulded like that from factory would have more strength.
