Is this the 13mm hex head bolt for holding the caliper to the carrier? Will check all ours when i get the chance but I always fit new ones which vw supply with either pads or the rubber slide pin seals/rubbers.

Maybe everyone thinks you're a nutter because your car is too low :cuckoo: Now i'm getting on a bit these days so seeing this makes me go erm... why? but dont take it to heart i'm just an old fart  nice looking motor though!

Thats the same number as the ones we have, although it works out slightly cheaper from the dealers without having to pay the postage. we always get a good discount too when we mention the Corrado Club so well worth the £10 joining fee.

No contest in my oppinion, and speaking from a buffing point of view I hate the fact that the solitude has a stupid clover leaf shaped hub section (the bit that faces the disc) that collects water when you wash it. I know it's sad but it bugs me  so glad i dont have them and Jude does
-
I think they were the standard VR style item but also coloured in the same brick red leather, but dont quote me on that.
-
Got one of the porter ones for sale if you are interested mate, £10 Posted. only selling as i now have A bentley one which Jude bought me for xmas. Not as extensive as the bently but a fraction of the cost.

Ooh that honister is a bitch mate, remember doing that on the montain bike one year. a speedy recovery then matey! hang in there.

Didn't even notice that on first view so had to go back and look
-
Thats a bugger mate hope you are ok, how are you gonna cope with work then? you got insurance for being off sick? Oh and i'll ask, What happened then?
-
Yes for me I think colours like red, yellow, silver, white always look better with them. but each to their own chap and they are easy to stick back on anyway.
-
Nice job David, love the avatar by the way :)
-
Yeah give em both a slap round the ear, then accept their offer of either car with a full tank of fuel  Hope you haven't tempted fate though buddy saying it's never broke down is not something I suggest myself lightly :ignore:
-
Yes looking good James and hope it passes without issues
-
Yeah good luck, my daily passed today too and i was sure it'd fail so happy as larry whoever he is
-
Was expecting a catastrophe too so iguess fearing the worst has helped
-
Good news today as the 8v passed without issues today  The tester did say theres a small amount of play in the rear bearings but nothing major! Was thinking about doing a brake overhaull anyway soon with new discs and pads all round and some new rear bearings and splash guards to tidy it up a bit  Also bought some new dampers for the VR today
