Hi Mate, I know bugger all about G's but if you need an extra pair of hands give me a shout :salute: -
Good grief! I think i feel a bit sick :( i really dont like to see this kinda thing at all, but reminds me of when i was at my mates house one summer evening, the car was parked 3 meters from where i was sat and i heard the clifford chirp just as 3 guys walked past so just to check i want to look just in case and the scruffy so & so's had all spat huge greeny's on it just coz it was a nice looking car! I shouted to them as they were only 30 yards away and they legged it. Jealousy me thinks but as said he could have hacked someone right off too! but that aint hard these days is it?

Yeah regarding the font type they used it is very similar and I asked them about this when they were starting up the company and going round with samples to shops like where i work and they said they were a little too worried about copy rights so they chose a similar font as opposed to the Corrado style :) Ahh you a down hill man then matt? i think they are :cuckoo:  -

Hmmm matching car & bike you snob Lol! -
Hi Jim, had a bit of a bending session this evenin and will see how they are over the next day or so! not impressed though at £80 odd when they need tweeking so much :( They are whats called, Aero wiper kit for Corrado's from VAG parts online as earlier in the thread and not the TT ones by the way.

Hi Chaps, the blades look a little rippley but nothing major! had another look at the arms tonight and bent them towards the screen a little to apply more pressure to the blade but they are still utterly useless! Think i'm going to send them back or try them on judiths first! The one's i took off worked better and i aint joking :(

Hi Matt, aye seems a bit silly but then if you have a cycle thats worth £4500 and made of the most exotic stuff on the planet would you want to ride it in winter with salt all over the road? not to mention the lack of mud guards on a bike of this value too. So yep most real bikies will have a winter bike in their collection :salute: -
Nice one :) how much are they anyway?
-
Hi Mate, Yeah they are both the same part number and genuine items too! Really got me this  was expecting them to be awsome. Can only think its the little metal bits that need filing away so the arm go's closer to the screen, has anyone else had to do this? :|
-
I do at the minute mate, got a few glitches that are doing my head in Grrr!
-
Hello pip and welcome, as Walsey says looks more like a bordeaux! nice looking car though and not a bad price too
-
Looking good mate, fancy swapping for an 8v Corrado
-
Cheers Bill, Will take a look at that, the ones near the hinges yes?
-
Well after reading this and fancying some for my 8v daily i ordered som from the VAG Parts company and just fitted them and they are PANTS! the left hand side blade arcs in the middle and doesn't even touch the screen so have i done something wrong? I swapped over the blades too and it was just as bad! :( Any suggestions?
-
Right chaps, I'm having a bit of a problem with this particular fuse as it keeps blowing  was doin it every week or so now it blows as soon as i put one in so can anyone shed some light on why this might be? It seems to have started since i had my tailgate painted so maybe could be a wire in the rear hatch shorting or something so maybe i should remove the panel and take a look! Any suggestions welcome though! Thanks.

i'M ALSO GOING TO BE REPLACING MINE ON THE vr WHEN I DO THE AXLE BUSHES MATE AND AS SUGGESTED I THINK I'D PROBABLY CLEAN UP AROUND THE AREA THE SPRAY AROUND THEM TO MARK THE SPOT BUT NOT SURE IF THIS'LL BE ACCURATE ENOUGH! KIP
-
As said in my pm earlier mate, you will be sadly missed but i'm sure you'll come and say hello now and then. Very best wishes on the new job front and hope all goes well with that and everything else you decide to do. Very best regards! Kip :(
-
Sounds feasable KipVR, Yeah its a great runaround really and didn't think i'd enjoy driving it so much!
-
Yeah still keep thinking of doing that to the VR steve so maybe when i replace the ones on that i'll do so. At the minute the 8v sits a little higher than the VR even i'm guessing it has a different rate of spring to cope woth the extra weight, I have to be honest and say even though i like the standard height of the 8v putting new springs on that'll increase the height a bit will look hideous  good for the speed bumps round here though!
-
Cheers for that boy's! Will have a look underneath and see what they look like and maybe just re-paint them! but then replacing will erase the need to take them off again in theory Hmmmm :?
-
Hi all, Well will be tackling the suspension soon by means of replacing the dampers/shocks with new items and all new bump stops top mounts and bearings (etc) Question is though will the springs be ok or is it wise to replace them? I spoke with a mechanic i know and he's advised to replace them but says its not essential! So what do you think? Re-fit or replace? It has the factory set up on at the moment but was going to fit some bilstein B4's which are a direct replacement for the standard shocks, and i dont want to lower the car at all as its my daily 8v Any thoughts please guys? Thanks for looking! Kip. :?
-
Hang in there mate it'll be worth it when its all done and you are havin a cuppa Lol!
-
Just thought I'd bump this as this happened to me recently (no windows or central locking) :( But a quick look on here and doing as Yan suggested resolved it. I just cant believe one litttle fuse can cause so much to go wrong  So a huge thank you must again go to the Corrado Forum for helping resolve my little problem and of course a big thank's to Yan too :salute:
