  1. Na! J is late 91. A few J's around at one time but i guess quite a few are no more :(
  2. Yes an early car so correct.
  3. Sure, first you need to prise out the indicator use a cloth and a large bladed screw driver and prise from in between the fog and the indicator, you'll see what i mean once you start it, it (indicator) will pop out as it has a clip holding it in place. Then remove the 4 screws you'll now be able to see, worth replacing the screws too here, the back of the fog light itself has a removable grey coloured cover. Remove the cover then you'll see where the wires are attached to the light, it's far easier to swap these onto thenew fog loght than trying to feed the whole fog loght wire with plug attached behind the bumper, trust me here lol! if all the screws come out ok it'll take 15 mins to do both sides :) Good luck.
  4. Hi mate, good to see you found your way onto here too!
  5. Stop being such a big fecking baby Jim, you know full well you'd be annoyed a few months after selling it, remember toads BBQ you said about great cars and great friends and all that. It will return I for one can vouch that from my own experience, I had a fair pot of money put aside to finally fit the brand new vag suspension thats been under our bed for two years  this year but due to being off work with minimum salary that money is now going to have to substitute my wage, believe me this is depressing news for me but i'll be back and it will get done at some point. So many people go through this at this time of year and it's less than a month til Elsecar now so start buffing ;)
  6. Yes all fixings are intact an present, I cant guarantee if the speakers are any good though as i haven't tested them. :) Any good to you?
  7. Pics, there is a small section where the covering is a little damaged but the rest of them is all good with no cracks etc, the speaker grill may need a little fettle too. £25 posted?

    Vr6

The standard ones are good but will notice significant difference with a vibratechnics one, i couldn't believe the difference it made to acceleration and gear change feel :)
  9. It already is  and my vr is 20 miles away so i cant even check and i cant drive till mid April now with the state i'm in :(
  10. Even better, I bet its the same company lol, certainy the same style website :)

I did say dont quote me though lol! just checked etka, and although the part has the same number for 8v and VR6 it does however have on letter different at the end of each part number. Hopefully someone will confirm the parts are interchangeable.

I actually think the top section that you need is generic, but dont quote me on that. i think the actual cross member bit underneath is model specific?
  13. been driving a corrado for 17 years and didn't know the switches were supposed to light up.

Ooh that rad support does look a bit worse for wear. Make sure the engine is constantly supported as when the bumper is removed the only bolt holding it in place are the 2 small bolts that go inbetween the large bumper bolts that you've removed. And the screw into a captive nut which is located in the rad support which is very rusty, i'm suprised it hasn't given way already :/ good luck with it :)
  15. they are significantly different mate so you'd struggle really.
  16. Jay, Euro car parts do an ATE one, and if you put MARCH25 into the code box you'll get a big chunk off :) £70 posted i think it is
  17. Steve i think the late design is still available, i know the early one is obsolete.
  18. Hi there, pm me your full name and address and i'll check for you! :)
  19. I have 3 already I think.
  20. Womens jeans  dont get me started on that one...lol
  21. Indeed, I think i learned to accept and be more diplomtic in my life in general since becoming chairman of the ccgb  Before that if it wasn't what my ideals were i'd have shot them down in flames, i wonder if thats because i'm getting older too? but it has definately made me have to think about other people decissions/opinnions before giving my own. I'ts still quite normal for me to completely & utterly disagree sometimes though. However this below is taking the pi55 :) http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VW-CORRADO-ORIGINAL-FIRST-AID-KIT-STILL-PLASTIC-VERY-RARE-G60-16V-8V-VR6-UK-/220955772570?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item3371fd869a
  22. Yes i feel there are a few categories and Kev has summed it up nicely, thing is a lot of people think i'm against modding a car, that is very not the case i can assure you, i would love to drop mine 30mm and have some 17 borbet C's on. The only time it grates me is when some of our fellow owners think appearance over function and more seriously safety, i mean these suspension kits for less than £200. whats that all about  and when they drop them so low it keeps hitting the sump Eh! :lol! We are indeed a funny old bunch! :)
  23. a brand new vag starter motor for the 8v posted for £40 which isn't fantastic but not bad, still in the box too lol!
