  1. Also there are a couple of fuses actually right above the fusebox itself and that usually blows so maybe worth checking those first, you'll see it if you stick your head low into the footwell and look up (with the fuse tray shelf removed)
  2. Yeah no problem Andy, you gonna join us for curry and sleep over at ours the night before??? plenty of room mate if you do ;)
  3. Yeah i did think that while i was out riding today Lol! will go in early tomorrow and do it :)
  4. Right seem to have sussed out posting pics now lol! they aren't in order so am sure you can figure it out, the rear panel was replaced with a brand new iten and is all etched primered up before the seatant goes on, this is done as if you put the sealant straight onto bare metal you can get condensation with temperature changes so the etch primer stops this happening thus making a nice bonding surface for the sealant to go on and when thats done I will go and inspect it to see if it looks original enough before painting :) Cant recomend the place enough, so far they have been superb and very enthusiastic :)
  5. As you can see all is looking very good and i'm really pleased with the boys at the bodyshop where the car is, the metal work looks superb (thanks Matt) and now paint is only a matter of days away so rear quater windows have been removed as i decided we may as well do it all and do it right, hopefully the screen has now been removed as there were small signs of corrosion around the edge so thought it best to remove it while it's there and get it treated or ground back and welded up should it need any fabrication. Any comments or questions lets hear em :)
  6. Yeah had some daft bint run into it in October but it's coming along nicely now so having a full window out resto at the same time, as you do lol! Theres a long thread on here somewhere, must update with pics soon.
  7. fingers crossed for you mate, hope all goes to plan ;)
  8. Could've had another engine though luvey :) Looking good though mate, cant wait to get mine back from the body shop.
  9. TAG, is a Nugget Corrado mate not the owner :) it had a fair bit of work done body wise over the last year or so....
  10. Ah thats not Good Alex :( Hope you get yourself sorted out soon!
  11. No great rush to be honest Andy as all i'm thinking about at the moment is riding the bike and shifting the excess weight i put on since the accident, off to Majorca on my annual cycling holiday in 12 days so banging the miles in :) Nugget should be done by around end of march ish lol! VR needs some work doing before stanford though so as soon as i get back from Majorca it's VR time :/ Mucho to do oh! Gonna be a very busy year
  12. Yeah all is going well, went to see it last week and the rear panel is welded on and just needs sealant adding then i go to inspect it looks ok before painting. Took plenty of pics but my camera is with the car so not uploaded any. Decided to get the whole car done too while it's in so all trim removed, bumpers, slam panel, etc will all be painted as it'd probably look odd and not match up as well if i didn't so seems a perfect opportunity
  13. Yep definately the responsibility of the previous owner to have sorted it mate so i wouldn't worry :)
  14. I'd be livid! a deal's a deal simple as, if he thought it was too cheap why agree to sell it to you? Bloody time waster :(
  15. Very nice mate, makes me want to get back into it :)
  16. Yeah figured they wouldn't be expensive either mate but if it's a bit of a trip to the dealers i guess an extra quid or two posted aint worth the hassle. Do like to see what stuff is at dealers more than anything though as more often than not its a far bit cheaper than some items on ebay.
  17. Ah Nice cheers Andy. not looking forward to doing the bushes though lol!
  18. Here you go mate, :) http://shop.ebay.co.uk/chubnut9999/m.html?_nkw=corrado&_sacat=0&_odkw=&_osacat=0&_trksid=p3911.c0.m270.l1313
  19. Hi All, Hoping to remove the cross member on jude's car later and wanted to ask about possible problems with the fluid in the power steering system. I know i have to prop up the engine etc to support it while i remove the cross member etc but what issues can occur when reconnecting the pipe? can you just refill it at the reservoir and keep it topped up or does it need to be bled through or something? I'd check my bentley but it's at the body shop with the Nugget. Hope someone can advise. Thanks! :)
  20. Hi Mate, have a look at (Chubnut) ebay seller it's GPC based in luton and he has some for sale for a few quid on ebay at the mo ;)
  21. I thought that was it Lol! Sorry mate but i didn't think it would that bad for you :)
  22. Yeah i stopped bidding at £70 Lol! not paying that much. a blue one went for £112 a week or so ago Jim :0
