  1. I thought this would have created more interest then this
  2. I suppose if the clutch is failing it could be slipping and then catching while youre riding the clutch, could that cause it to judder.... do you think?
  3. Its the wheel alignment, i didnt know it was called Optiflex either. I think its just the name of the Laser equipment they use
  4. £3k for engine, plus other parts in and out of engine bay. Probably going to be told i paid too much :? That is not including labour, as i know the bloke to an extent so he did it as a 'Project' as opposed to a job ie in his spare time.
  5. Funnily enough though, I had the EXACT same thing. One black wire appeared to be cut from the same connector. It was the wires from the lambda to the connector in the engine bay, down the bottom on the left and the back - if that makes sense. Got it reconnected and but i didnt notice any improvement in anything.
  6. After waiting weeks for this to be fitted, among a few other things while the lump was out, my new VR engine is finally fitted and i picked it up tonight!!! OMG, It sounds, feels, drives so smooth :D Obviously im taking it easy at the moment while it beds in. But for now im so happy with it, cant wait to be able to give it some boot! Cost me a little more then expected due to a few bits being changed like the water pump, all engine mounts, new HT leads and clutch. I also had Optiflex on it. The old engine was buggered for months, and instead of getting it rebuilt i decided to just fit a VEGE replacement, i also now know how its being treated. Unlike the old one which was probably ragged to h3ll. The drive home was fantastic and i didnt want to go home - ended up taking the scenic route ;) Seems well worth the cost! :D Whooopaaaa!
  7.^^ Talk about WAAAAY WAAAY off topic from the original question. Though not so boring ;)
  8. Depends what your drinking and how ugly the bird is. May need something a little strong, though it is possible yes.
  9. Fair answer! The chicks thing is helped by having beer goggles im sure
  10. Makes a change from it being beemers imo, especially 3 series.
  11. Noticed the auction didnt notice the reg. Cant be many registered as a P.
  12. Sorry to hear about your bad experience mate. I think id have been just as annoyed as you, to the point where id have gone up to them and said you've just lost yourself a sale because you didnt seem bothered that i was there. Next time you'll know not to ignore someone standing in your showroom.
  13. Stone chips, he's moaning because of stop chips!?? Sold as seen?
  14. Fanjita i got a set of them from ebay for £93 inc postage. Exactly the same. Edit - Ah theyre LEDs though. was going to get those before but wasnt sure what the LEDs would look like on a rado. Though they were the same price.
  15. I dunno, the chrome ones in my opinion look less obvious then the black one. The black ones look as though you just havent painted them to match the body colour yet.
  16. Sorry misread that. I will have to get a set. Cheers
  17. cool, may invest. How you stick them on? Straight on to the glass, with what?
  18. ah, where you get the stick on ones. I thought you meant the ones being sold on here
