  1. hmm I had an old mate whos brother was a little b"stard and used to break into cars. He knew which locks where good and where not. I remember him saying those type werent that good, from what i can remember. THere must be a website that rates car locks.
  2. good man! :) Which one you get? Was one of those semi circled ones was it, heard theyre easy to get off despite how they look
  3. What like this Chavalier :) Spotted on New Years Eve while shopping. PMSL Oh God, we're getting dangerously close to barryboys.co.uk here guys! Anyone in the Ipswich area know the Transformers Corsa? Now that is funny! TRANSFORMERS CORSA  now you have to post a pic of that! Would be worth a laugh
  4. Got a quote from Silverladyleather, but its a bit for to go for me (its in S.Wales). They quoted £900 to retrim cloth in leather, price included VAT and fitting.
  5. Yeah there is some rubbish on there but there are some good items too! Spotted the carpets too :D
  6. Fair play. No worries. Though i wouldnt imagine they'd be that much difference if any.
  7. VERY NICE! Loving those rims, where you manage to get them from at that price inc tyres?
  8. Rear left light - 61.05 GBP Rear right light - 61.05 GBP 2 x door seals - 129.88 GBP outside rubber bit at bottom of window Left - 94.98 GBP According to the currency convertor on http://www.LSE.co.uk
  9. i see what you mean. Suppose that could be a last resort. Like i said that kind of lock isnt that tough, so give the hack saw a go first
  10. Couldnt you try a lock smith? Also i dont think that sort of lock is that tough, so as you've said a hacksaw and screwdriver should get it off in the end. If you could get hold of one of those portable power packs/jump lead packs a disc saw may be easier and quicker. Though it may look like youre trying to nick the car
  11. Hey mate, that looks great! Looks meaner!
  12. Any idea how much they are from the stealers Jim?
  13. Sorry to jack your thread. But speaking of refurbing speedlines, has anyone got them done any different to the standard silver? Polished, black etc? Just looking for ideas when i come to get my speedies refurb'd soonish.
  14. Yes they are, priced at £12 as far as i can remember. BUT, i found out after id bought and fitted mine to go for a genuine VW one as they are better quality, not sure how much they are. The GSF ones have a rep for breaking rather quickly - though mine has lasted since May.
  15. When switch had gone on mine the car would turn over but wouldnt start.
  16. Thanks for the update Andy. Again sorry, didnt want to seem like i was moaning. Thanks again! :D
  17.^^ Welcome to the forum dublife!
  18. Anyone heard anything? Not meaning to nag Andy, just wondering what's going on.
  19. Yup definately a ignition switch problem.
  20. Sorry 3corsameal meant this attachment for the rear. Didnt realise id posted the same image. I jac the car up at the back where the suspension arm meets the rear beem. Then put axle stands under the rear beam (has a rounded edge to it too) its safe on there.
  21. tbh id be reluctant to use the floor plan to jack the car up. I always use the following -
  22. They're called SONAR headlight me thinks. Theres a thread on here somewhere. EDIT - http://www.the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewto ... =3&t=64031
