Remove your airbox and look on the side of the block thats were the engine code is take some sandpaper to clean it up unless its clear to read and have a look to c if it raeds "aaa" or "abv" Cheers James

If you drive around at a nice pace and dont wheel spin ect..ect..The mounts should last for the life of the car ,But the mounts are constantly under pressure from engine braking, acceleration, cornering ect so the more miles it has the more likely for the rubber to perish and split and more so the front one due to the force its under when you accelerate.. Another point ...when you uprate the engine power the mounts will have to work alot harder .. :shock: Try using N.O.S the mount will rip itself apart :shock: Cheers James

Front mount is most common to go (ask anybody here !!) but you will know when your front mount is gone :shock: the engine will want to jump out when you pull away ect.. :( Gear cables are more likley worn .... Can you give a bit more info on "box baulks" :D Cheers James

It bites to high up ,bleeding it would not sort it ,if it had air in the hydrolic it would bite to low down near the floor.... James

They are a pain somtimes to move,if you are trying by had -no way :mad: Either tap it around with sutable flat punch(dont by shy to hit it) :evil: Or make a tool out of flat bar or something that will apply evan pressure You have to use force with the plastic, its tough but just needs to be hit evenly on either side... Or buy VAG tool :turn-l: :shock: Hope ive been some help Cheers James
