  8. I've had a similar race with my mates Daihatsu charade turbo(1000cc 3 cylinder 12 valve) and it was just as quick as my VR6 to about 90mph :x ,well he did have the boost wound right up  Little cars have no weight to pull so good acceleration As for the C !! Well they are no light weight  Oh !! and this was all done on a private road "cough"
  9. Thanks for the replies ,but I've decided not to get one of these valves as the altering of the fuel pressure will upset my nitrous jet settings and the last thing I want to do is run lean and burn a hole through my pistons !!
  10. Yes please !!!! Does the speedo go to 160 ? Cos the US spec slc only go to 140 If so count me in :D
  11. This Happened to me also when approaching round-a bout and touched the brakes and off she went.since I've lowered my C the rear brake compensator had not been adjusted to suit ....so their was far to much rear brakes and that's what made the rear end come loose. This is common fault on a C when giving it some grief approaching a long corner ,when you want to scrub off speed touch the brake it goes worse !!,hit more brakes and off she goes.. :x Have a look >>> http://corrado.atx-hosting.co.uk/viewtopic.php?t=2224 So all to you Corrado owners that have lowered their suspension...you all should adjusted the rear brake bias adjuster to stop the back end from drifting out. Save the C :D
  12. My girlfriend called me an idiot for spending so much cash on my C and not her :? !! The cheek I said ,I'm not that bad just look at these lot .... Some serious cash spending going on here

  16. Hello All The other day I was digging out my log book and paper work for the C and decided to organise the receipts in a folder,(sad ) then a quick calculate of who much I've spent on the car over a year.. :?: I was Shocked to see how much I've spent !! About 4 k !! Mind you I've had the car for 8 months now and that's included wheels ect.. :D This excludes labour cos all the work done is by meself !! So how much have you spent on your beloved C ?
  17. I would replace your plug leads as they break down under load as you have described! More cylinder pressure the greater the need for spark.

  22. I've seen Nos run on cars for years with no side affects,I've yet to see one with a cracked head, melting pistons more like when not set up right. As for proper power !! Best Bang for pound, run stock VR6 for everyday use and with a flick of a switch its a monster!! I've ran my system for a year now with 138000 miles on it!! Chrisvr6-n.o.s has got 150000 miles on his clock and has been running his for a lot longer than mine Have a look at Wizard of Nos Site see what folks say about it http://www.noswizard.com/bboard/
  23. Im running A Wizard of Nos kit on myne which are good kits. 75bhp shot of nos gives one hell of a kick and its quite smooth anymore and as Henny said"but not too great for gearboxes and clutches!" Then a progressive controller is needed so you can start to go up to 150 shot !! But this is on my VR6 not a G60 so dont know how they will fair with it .... James
  24. Has anybody stuck one of these FSE Power Boost Valves on your C :?: Ive been told its smooths out flatspots on VR'S :? Thanks James
