1.2 US gallons to 1 UK gallon and if my maths is right a UK car averaging 22mpg should mean the US car averaging just over 18mpg assuming similar fuel and driving conditions. 14mpg still sounds a little low if being driven economically.
-
It has been going up in price in the US, but it's still miles cheaper than over here. Lanceevox - if you are only getting 14 mpg it sounds like you have a problem with the car. My VR averages around 22mpg in town and can get up to over 30 on a longer run. I would get the car checked.

I'm speechless, that is the most amazing car ever.

I've got one of the sony ericsson phones, all you do is open the shutter and snap away, but even then they sometimes get away. -

Spotted a black 16v this morning around 11am on Shacklewell Lane, East London and another parked up on the south circular near Lewisham. -
Can't add much more than the others have said, really sweet looking rado. Love the colour and in such good condition. I'm sure you must be enjoying it lots. :)

Think I saw the same storm that Dub Envy spotted in Notting Hill in Hammersmith today around 10.30am. Woman driving it. -

No Rob, N1 PSM wasn't available, anyway I like E1 PSM because I was born in Bethnal Green (E1 postcode) so it's kinda relevant to me. Someone also asked if I got E1 cause it's like EL (spanish for "the"), which I hadn't thought of but kinda like. Anyway enough hijacking of the Corrado Spotting thread. :) -

What do you mean the first N reg you've seen? -
Hmmm, have you done some hotwiring in the past Jay?

That is not the specified spacing on the british plate, that's why it doesn't look right and is harder to read. I also think the 3D font, which is legal, makes it less legible.

Definately put me down for one. -
Jim - DVLA do state when you buy a registration mark that if you misrepresent it you risk it's confiscation so I guess people shouldn't be surprised if this happens. A bit excessive I know but they do make it clear from the off. It's not only the spacing and font of the letters either, a street legal number plate must contain the name of the company that produced it and their postcode and the BS145 mark to indicate that the plate meets British Standards. It's not even legal to use sticky pads to fix the plate, it must be secured by screws. Well at least my plates meet the majority of these requirements

no flash, using my D750i camera phone, I think they would be more concerned as to why there is a blue van screaming up behind them. Can't believe how many c's i'm seeing on the road lately (not all reported here), you'd think c's were common. :) -

Spotted this one on the A40 Westway heading towards Marylebone Road this afternoon. -
I think it is more likely that someone will want to clone a car that is more mainstream. Cloning usually takes place when the criminal fraternity steals a car for illegal purposes and that usually isn't a rado. Although I personally think a rado is a good choice if you are looking to outrun the police on a twist piece of road  I don't worry myself, if it gets cloned i'll just have to argue the case afterwards.

We only managed to get hold of this recently. http://www.fastpurple.co.uk/corrado/vid ... 201988.avi You might want to right click and use the "save target as" option although it will stream ok if you are on braodband There are quite a few other rado vids on the site (http://www.fastpurple.co.uk/corrado/vids/) Enjoy :)

I like the look of the steelies, they are kinda old school. Did you keep the BBS'? Have you seen the old top gear g60 video?
-
Basically they have special tools which they use on the inside of the panel to push the dent out. I've been told in some cases they run a tool back and forth over the dent and it starts pushing out. Although it sounds like they did a bit of panel beating on g60daves bonnet. As long as the paint isn't damaged and the panel isn't too heavily creased then can usually get the dent out.
