That looks like a minty c you have there, the elbow grease is definately working. I like the ride height, my roller skate could do with a 40mm drop. Are those wheels original?

I've heard these guys can do some great work, I had a small dent removed once from an Audi A4 on the drivers door after the dealership manged to dent it when it was in for a service and you'd never know it had been there. Must get the c done, got a few car park dings but not surprising I guess after 10 years.

So we know you have a polo Gti, what rado you got?
-
So two veedubs eh Dubby, a real enthusiast.

I'm sure they do these things just to discourage people from servicing their own cars. More work for them!

I think I would go for either the Golf or Passat. Mk5 golf is meant to be a good handler so that might swing it for me, but the extra space and possibly more comfortable ride in the Passat could be a winner. If I was doing high mileage I think I would take the Passat. Edit - Congrats on the job by the way.

Saw a very nice black G60 in Mitcham today K*** EYO -
Well seeing two together like that is pretty rare and all possible due to the Corrado Forum! :)

Make sure you have lots of spare cash to fix it when it goes wrong. But seriously, keep the revs down until the engine oil warms up..... saves all that wear and tear. Usually keep mine below 4k rpm until it reaches 80 degrees. Thought you might like to see pic of your car parked next to mine at the south east meet a couple of months ago. Do you still have the same plates of did mark take them off?
-
You seem very knowledgable there Dinkus, like you have one sitting around in a drawer somewhere!!
-
Hi JS, I saw your car when mark had it and you have yourself a very nice car there. Welcome to the forum.
-
Although I've never removed mine I'm pretty sure it's plastic. Where did you see a metal one?
-
I'd stick with Aqua, probably the best c colour IMO.
-
Looking good phil, I like the lighting.
-
I'm sure it's going to come in handy now winter is coming. Wish I had a garage to put my c in but the car cover is the next best thing I guess.
-
Why on earth would you pull those beautiful side strips off?
-
The Tyvek car cover from halfrauds is very good. It was reduced from £60 to £40 but i'm not sure if that offer is still going. The medium cover fits the c like glove. It's made from a special material made by Du pont which is breathable and waterproof. The inside is nice and soft too. Highly recommended

Well the moral of the story is always keep your car clean cause you never know when someone is going to take a pic of it. :) -
That's it Luke rub it in while we are all freezing here!!!
-
So what was the outcome with the unleaded/super unleaded?
-
Nice c gav, seen you around on the vr6.oc forum, welcome to the-corrado.net

I'm sure you could mention that audi have developed the fuel efficient FSI engine and how much fuel it is going to save them, not to mention how it will reduce the tax for the driver due to lower co2 emmisions.

I would imagine the clutch friction linings are knackered now, they would probably have absorbed the oil.
