THe fogs and indicators are more recessed on the early style bumper.
-
Are you asking whether the early and late bumpers were different?
-
That looks sweet. I definately agree that you should return this one to standard spec and keep the mileage down. You really do have the best of both worlds owning two vr6's.
-
I don't know about being good for piles but they were nice today after standing out in all that rain. :)
-
Certainly looks good down low like that, just not sure it's too practical in London with all the f**king speed humps down every side street.
-
it rides 30mm higher at that speed with the spoiler down. :) It is a nice pic though, Rob is quite the photographer.
-
I'd have thought with that big heavy engine and all that leather your C would be lower than that ;)[/quote:4c72e] Well when you get to my age comfort takes a little more priority over handling. :)

Are you trying to suggest i'm driving a 4x4 Phil.

A few more for the collection.

Nice pics Dan. :)
-
Nice pic Rob, your photography skills are certainly a lot better than mine!
-
I don't suppose anyone got out of that!
-
Yeah the silver is pretty far out, the car looks like a lunar rover when it's on but it certainly does the job.

Feel gutted for you mate, hope it all gets sorted out ok. -
Halfords do one good cover called the Tyvek car cover, it's made of a special material manufactured by du pont and it's nice and soft on the inside. It also keeps out rain but allows the car to breathe underneath it. The medium size fits like a glove, you'd think it was made for the c. Halfords were doing it at a reduced price of £40 recently but the normal retail is £60 I'm very happy with mine.

G60-R - There has been a lot of discussion on sunroofs, rado ones can be quite troublesome. If you haven't found them already here are some useful links http://the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2043 http://the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1906 http://the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewtopic.php?t=7564 hope this helps.

It was nice to see it again after all these years, great work on finding it Blue_Joe, please give a big thanks to your friend. £2 sent. -
When it comes to electrics the c is a very strange beast. I'm sure you will get some more advice from other forum members. RW1 or Kevhaywire may be able to point you in the right direction.
-
Well I wouldn't have thought so, it might be worth removing both 10 and 11 in turn and try to operate the fogs and horn (they shouldn't work with the relay removed) just to check that's what they switch, . It sounds like you may have a wiring or switch problem somewhere. The relays should only operate when switched by the fog light switch or horn button. Have you had any electrical work done on the car recently?
-
Love the colour, is that a standard c colour. Looks immaculate.
-
According the the Bentley manual, relay 10 is for the fog lights and relay 11 is for the horn. Relay 12 is apparently for the fuel pump so if this is the one you changed then maybe this information is correct for UK spec cars. I don't think they should be repeatdly switching as you have explained.

That Golf VR turbo is pretty awesome, the 0-200kph video is very impressive
-
My problem is I have more speed humps negotiate than fast sweeping bends to try it out on. Must get out of London more.
-
There's no doubting that the c is a very fine handling car, I'm still experimenting to find out where the limits of traction are and it's a lot of fun finding out. :)

I have a similar situation (a jolt when coming off the accelerator) with my vr but suspect it is probably more related to a sloppy mount. If i come of the gas more gradually it doesn't happen.
