  1. I'd like a set of headlight and fog covers in clear when available :-)
  2. It did considering I offered you £50 in September last year. I believe I should have had first refusal at £50.
  3. No compression sounds like possible timing chain failure.
  4. Take a look on ebay, there are some for sale on there at the moment.
  5. Don't forget, in the UK the aircon was effectively an aftermarket fit whereas in the US it was probably a standard fitment so may have been engineered differently.
  6. Always found the corrado power steering to be nicely weighted to be honest. The car is known for it's fine handling, not sure non assisted would be an improvement.
  7. Could be a bad connection that is only being made when it's sat on.
  8. Yep agreed, keep mine below 3k revs until the oil temp hits 80 degrees
  9. Ambient air temperature makes a difference as cold air is more dense which requires more fuel for the correct air/fuel ratio resulting in greater combustion, but I wouldn't expect a significant difference between a cold and hot engine. If anything mine runs better when it's warmed up.
  10. If your oil temp is at 110 then that isn't high enough to cause pressure problems. If that's your water temp then your oil temps will be higher.
  11. Agreed, but I would rather check the temps in case it's cooling related before pulling the sump off.
  12. Oil pressure drops with an increase in temperature. Get the oil hot enough and the buzzer will sound. It's worth noting what the oil temp is when it's buzzing just to eliminate any cooling issues.
  13. If the buzzer is sounding then it indicates that your oil temp is high. Did you check the temp on the MFA. What was the water temp running at? You might have a cooling problem.
  14. The 15 storms listed on howmanyleft are exceptions as most of the 500 storms were not registered as storms on the V5, which is where the data is taken from. The majority of those storms left are included along with standard VRs figures which does include both taxed and sorned cars.
  15. If only I had a spare £4k. My favourite plate for a VR! Good luck with the sale
  16. I always bleed the 2 nipples on the abs pump aswell
  17. You could make the hardline yourself or take your exisiting one to your local motor factors and they will make one for you for a lot less than a VW one
  18. I can't believe the insurers will payout for a claim on that one as it was self induced. What a bell end!
  19. Just registered, looking forward to it! I'd like to get on the track for the pic too please. Paul
  20. I got one a few years ago. It shows the cars production date, the date it left the factory and the port it was shipped to in the UK. quite a nice thing to have for an enthuiast.
  21. £50 delivered is still on the table Johnny and saves all the ebay hassle and fees :-)
  22. Well as you are in Somerset and I'm in London that's none too practical. £50 is my limit I'm afraid so good luck with the sale :-)
