  1. Tip toeing off to ED38 quickly......... :batman:
  2. AAARGH I can't wait to hear mine :onfire:
  3. Yeah I can remember reading your posts when I first joined the forum!! I look forward to seeing both yours and Karls in the flesh at showtime someday. :D
  4. Cool thanks Karl, would you go for the two or three silencer system though?
  5.  Sounding like me there Karl!! Mine was being done in the two weeks over Christmas!!
  6. Haven't seen or heard of any corrado's with this system on? 2.5" Jetex Stainless steel system with oval tailpipe. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Jetex-VW-Corrado- ... 240%3A1318
  7. You've got ma looking at 4 mo's now! My other half needs a replacement for her Mk3 Gti... Really liking what you've got there and you got a good price too, I can't find anything nearly as good as that for what you paid. Nice one Andy. More interior pics when you've finished it please!!
  8. Eh? they are SSW speeds aren't they? Look identical to mine only bigger? (9 spokes btw) ?
  9. That's the only pic I have I'm afraid, car's in bits so no front wheels on either :( In all honesty though, i think they look better on the Mk4, maybe that's just because they are 18's and mine are only 17's
  10. I like your choice of wheel a lot  :grin:P300808_12.40.JPG[/attachment:cqy1ogwe] Relitavely OE looking too
  11. You can buy self levelling kits from ARZ, if anyone is interested. I've just got a levelling switch from VW (£36) that allows me to adjust them from in the car, bought some E36 headlight motors from ebay (same as VR6 ones apparently, time will tell when they get delivered) and I'll have to make a loom up to connect them together. Still undecided as to go HID or not. Corozin, hurry up lad!
  12. Good work Pete, when is it booked in with VAG doctor? Looking really nice 8)
  13. That white split is 8) , I'd have a 21 samba in my 'ultimate' garage for sure.
  14. The two bolts that bolt the strut to the hub carrier, loosed them off until you can just move the wheel in and out, then use the gap between the inner rim and the strut leg as a reference point. From memory I could just get a fat finger in there (17x7.5 rim et35), just make sure it is the same both sides, and then get it to a garage as soon as is convenient to get it done properly.
  15. You need to be on flat ground too!!
  16. Oh right I see, sorry I thought you meant the top of the wheel! The strut tops do move when you take the load off them that's normal bud. But it does look as if your camber is out. Get a spirit level up against it for a quick check (ps needs to have a vertical bubble on it!) you should have a slight gap at the top of the wheel when holding it vertical.
  17. You make it sound so easy!  It's only four holes in the right place!!!
  18. These are the one piece ones I got, a lot cheaper than the brembo originals, usually good quality too. http://www.ebcbrakesdirect.com/car/part ... (2002-2005)
  19. Sounds to me like your struts aren't bolted to the hub chap, the two bolts at the bottom of the strut are loose. Or the wishbone perhaps. Take the wheel off and have a wiggle n watch.
  20. I wouldn't even begin to attempt it on the car, you'll end up taking longer and it'll involve lots of bad language!
  21. Zak, are you wondering about getting bigger brakes behind those nice CH's you have? If you can't push the wheels out because of the width of them, then you can try offsetting the disk and caliper in further by junking the Seat 28mm disk and using a 30mm disk and disk bell set up, you can buy the from various sources AP, Hi Spec etc.. You can't go too far inboard though because you'll hit the wishbone when cornering. The disks are the weak point of the Seat system as outlined here..... http://www.drivertuition.com/LeonCupraBrakes.htm
  22. I'm making some Chris, easy enough, bit of 2014 should do the job.
  23. I haven't tried yet Zak, but that's what i'll be working to.
