how horrible isn't that? three days ago it was negative 15 and a snowstorm. *cries* My rado is scheduled for repair and tune up on monday, and I'm not driving it until then.
-
the corrados are galvanized, and doesn't rust unless they've been in an accident or whatever. any marks and "repaired" bodywork will rust. Any rust should be explained by the owner. The only place mine has rusted is a bit under the battery, and it's not really rust, but rust color.

hi, just read through feckin' 34 pages of bragging and arguments about ice cream  nice job with your car, furkz! Congratulations with your nice shiny plaque. Where did you get your carbon stuff from? never seen it before tbh :) holla!

VR6, I looked all over for where you had put it ;) Supercharged, they're more than £60 a side in norway. Now if we were talking computer chips...

Hi, I just got myself a late style grille, but surely need some late style headlights to match. So I read the article in the knowledge base (nice article by the way), but I still have a few questions about where I should get my new lenses from. Are these worth getting second hand or are they not so bad from the stealers? Any replica-versions (gsf etc)? thx, sorry if this has been brought up before. The nifty little notifier you forum gurus added needs to search for all terms in the topic though, I got 4300 topics not related to what I wanted to ask about. nice idea though ;)

focal have some nice tweeters, ranging from crazy mofo to beyond schizzle dizzle youknowitizzle stuff that's like £300 a pair. Tbh, they are the only brand selling tweeters separately that I know of. What about small two-way speaker and three way crossover? If you are really snobbish, get a dedicated equalizer to tweak stuff as much as you want, and get high fidelity like none other at this forum ;)

they look awesome! gotta be slammed and cleaned though

wouldn't you need an automatic transmission to have the remote engine start feature? Otherwise you could never put it in gear when you park it.
-
too bad to hear about your car f**king you over. Mine does that on occasion too (like here). And when it does, at least three totally unrelated things happen. I'm sure your car will be alright. corrados are sound machines, they usually recover from anything, as long as you throw enough money at them.

I've never seen a bath tub (short of a bubbly one) that could fit a big wheel. Just buy new tires man, a few months doesn't matter in the big picture ;)

The vibration equilibrium tube (more known in german as blasenmirmiteinsaug-rohr) might need replacing. Visit your local S&M store for more details. congrats with getting (the) head (off). Too bad you bust a nut. i'm unstoppable today.

I got some clean ally ones with vw symbols on top. looks great. kinda old looking now though.

taw, nice gear you got yourself. It will probably sound great once you get it all wired up, and even better when you've tweaked the head unit as you want it. After enjoying this for a while though, I would invest in a decent dedicated amplifier. This will lift the quality of the sound your components produce several notches. However, if you don't listen to a lot of cds or mp3s, but mostly radio, this gain won't be very noticeable (since the fm signal won't ever get close to cd quality). About the rears, I really like having a more surround sound-stage than just the components in the front. This might just be me, though, so do whatever you feel like. A subwoofer really makes music more fun to listen to, though. The wiring isn't really that bad (just a couple of screws and clips, if you can fit a head unit, you can wire an amp. Or just pay someone £50 to do it for you.

did you buy a base model?

jeez. I just bought this complete set of both indicator- and wiper stalks off this german on ebay. clicky. the postage was stated at 9 euro, but I thought that was for germany, so I emailed him just to be sure. He came up with the amount 45 euros (for postage alone), so I sent him three emails discussing whether or not this was correct. Finally I got him to admit it would be 45 euros all together. Fair mistake. Now, he hadn't left any payment info on the ebay ad, so I emailed him and asked: "how should I pay you? do you accept pay pal?" and he sent the nice reply. "no paypal". nothing else ...yessir. I love germans. :)

thought they were et35 but don't take my word for it.

this happened to my last car, a beemer e30 325i, after a friend of mine had put it sideways up a kerb. It didn't look very affected (except one rim, which was fecked and got changed the day after), but it shaked like an epileptic. Get them realigned and rebalanced, and you should be putting it down and keeping it real like an o.g. mutha

I've taken the glovebox in and out so many times I've lost count, and it has never taken me more than 10-20 seconds of wiggling to get it out. This is the old type interior though. To get the main middle section out, you must take the clocks surround out (four screws), then find all the hidden screws (one behind double middle vent, one (hard to find and harder to unscrew) over the inside of the switches, three (or four, don't remember) screws behind the heater, two in the very back of the centre compartment room, and a few I probably forgot). You got to unplug the heater module from the back of the front panel, unplug all wiring from the cigarette lighter, any gauges you might have, and of course remove the head unit + wiring. Now it should be loose and you could just pull it out.
