hi all update fitted ignition switch today ok all fine car starts everytime now! but started her up after about ten mins she started idling like a bag of sh*t! sounded awfull and engine shaking! took isv off and idled a bit better put it back on and idled like a bag of sh*t again so took her for drive round the block and was running awfull in lower revs! got back listened under bonnet sounded like the knock sensor was knocking of the spark plugs was tapping any ideas anyone?

if its the oil 110 isnt a problem ive seen 118-120 after a proper long blast! and checking the coolant will only be good if the water temp is 110 what oil you using nick synta silver from vw? also if the water is getting hot all the time i would of though it was your rad or the like

just check its not cv joint, brake, wheel bearing or supercharger noises then it should be ok if you got a boost return deletion kit you'll hear alot more strange noises thou!

people slamming on and changing lanes without looking coz they want to avoid some points could be catastrophy unless people are ready for them they might be able to do it! but i still dont think too many people will be dodging the cameras

G60 ummm you'll love the noise of the charger and as tempest said defo easier to work on! then again youll love the exhaust note from the vr in my little experience on the forum i have noticed that for the price for a good g60 with a little tweaking and gaining 200-210bhp will cost rougly the same as buying a standard vr and putting a zorst on it! a good standard g60 3k + chip pulley and a few other bits of your choice a good standard vr £4k quite equal really for power and price if you spend 4k just go for what you prefer mate!

if its any consolation im having a bad time of it with the G at the mo think i may have found the problem thou so i hope you get yours sorted mate get a new fan from g-werks or the like will be cheaper than from the stealers and most probablly alot more effective also will be more slimline so give you a bit more room as a job i wouldnt of thought it would be too hard

HI all me and aide been looking at car this morning we think its definately the ignition switch as dan and a few others were saying as everything in the engine bay has been checked! we the took carpet out of boot undid the black metal circle to get to fuel pump wiring and fuel pump fuel pump is fine so we then checked the fuel pump wiring loom and took out the no.80 relay swapped with aide's no differece so then checked the ignition while aide had multimeter at back on fuel pump and it seems to be taking 12 volts onto position 2 on the key when primed then when on crank when she starts she reads 12 and when she doesnt she reads minus can anyone confirm this is the switch! Yes it is bill Quick update all: Just went out started her all fine took her round the block 15mins of driving she seemed a bit hesitant on light throttle under 2000rpm so then got back stopped then started her fine left it ten mins now she wont start then she did start now she wont This is so fecken annoying its unbelievable I just wanna drive her Fuel pump is priming everytime if this helps

by a bolt that goes through the silencer into the charger! bout 12mm something like that

no smell of fuel from exhaust or no more than normal! look at my sig twiss put all new polished engine parts on her!

cheers for advice henny daz will get her running again first but as for her running when she starts she's spot on! i want my exhaust done before id think about this

to all just quick would the throttle body make any difference to this?
