Hi All, I am not very happy after doing what I thought was a sterling job on Friday night and Saturday morning to the C basically putting her all back together. On Saturday mid-day I went over to the mainland southern meet, car was fine run well mpg was roughly rite, could smell a little bit of petrol but nothing major, Then drove home fine again parked up and went out for night as you do! Got up Sunday went to start the C doesn’t want to run had a quick check of the C, All seems fairly normal alternator fine battery fine still sparking so then it randomly started when it had started as soon as noticed a massive smell of petrol, Anyway looks like it was dripping from the fuel pressure regulator so I took this off and changed the seal nipped it back up and not good! On priming fuel absolutely pissed it out with quite a bit of pressure same place! This was after changing the seal any ideas please as I’m pretty stuck now will investigate tonight to have a better look at the fuel rail. Sorry for the long explanation can anyone please help Thanks in advance Andy.

mate they are expensive about £8.30 or something for each injector and you get 2 seals! luckyily i got a deal! £13.64 with vat! ill get the code for you i have it on invoice! i didnt realise they had new etka till today

so much nore torque??? lol 181 lb/ft of torque a standard vr iirc? nost modded g60's will produce a better torque reading than this! you know what you need boys a big fat supercharger! :lol: i must admit thou my fuel consumption is shocking!

can get spoiler to pop up thankyou! and quite rapidly too! its just im talking most journeys under 15 miles at like 30mph or so and its constant changing so never get a high mpg reading but never the less i dont think id get 350 miles to a tank let alone 500 this is intriguing me now any other g60 owners want ot share there results? mines wobbling about ill be fitting mine back on friday! gonna ring up steakers now and see about the fuel rail seals as allthough there prob fine if i can do it i mite aswell!

andy there's no way you can get 500! my average m.p.g is like 22.8 and for me to 500 miles i'd have to fill my tank up at least twice and i dont even really cain it at all just short trips! so the mpg never gets up to a good reading!

150 miles to half a tank thats brilliant going im luck if i get 230 to a full tank i think thats only 12gallon tank thou! vr6's really! that much more economical!

or do 150 on the autobahn for a few miles im sure that'll see a few more degrees!

no it doesnt leon check this pic dude edit: mate my inlet is still off now i took a pic the other day but cant find it now i ended up popping the fuel pressure regulator off but thats it!

if the et is 42 on a vr or whatever it is 10mm spacers will prob work! edit: ah listen to blue joe i was just thinking off something from before!
