  1. Does that actually work? Might have to try that, just a shame of the colour of the tape.
  2. Looks lovely, just not keen on the rear number plate surround. By the way, is your car lowered on coilovers or shocks and sprigs?
  3. Bought these for the Corrado, about a week ago. Don't think they suited the red car, so they are up for sale. They come with bulbs, and are in mint condition. £10 Posted
  4. What a daft idea. Well i will see if i can change it so it stays on in both potions, when i i fit the fuse at the back of the switch
  5. Just a quick question. The green light on my head light switch comes on, when i put my side lights on. (one click) But then goes off when i put my dipped beams on (two clicks) Is this normal, or is there something wrong with my headlight switch.
  6. You've probably done a better fix there. But you can also buy plastic item for the Gurven part, from VW which i think was around £5. I can dig out the part number if you need it.
  7. Good luck with it, will be nice to see this been turned around. I know its a bit late now, but if any newbie is reading this. Dont go buy the pictures in a add only, always ask for some fresh pictures of the car and how it is today. Not when it was at its best.
  8. So got the car back of Friday from the alarm fitters, not sure why it took so long. I think they didn't order the parts or the guy who i booked it in with didn't put it in the diary or something. I did recorded the mileage before, and they haven't put any on, lol. Only thing is some of the features i asked for have not been programmed, like the one touch full closure and the re arming of the immobiliser after a certain time. Also think the sensitive needs turning down, as the alarm is going off sat on my drive, but its okay when its in the garage. So will take it back this week some time. While had the car for the weekend I wanted to tackle the front bumper gap on the passenger side, as it was annoying me load. A lot of messing about with trialling things spent all day Saturday on it and a few hours on Sunday putting it back together. But the final result is a lot better, and I'm happy with the results. Side view before After Conner view before Conner view after Top view before After So what do you all think?
  9. Good to hear that your going to save it, and not just given. Good luck with it.

Looks nice in white, just needs a good wash. :-)
  11. If it starts straight away with the sensor disconnected after 2 hours, i would have thought the blue temp sensor is your fault and you will need to buy a new one.
  12. So disconnect the sensor and leave it for 2 hours and see if it starts up straight away.
  13. I would try stating the car after its been left overnight. As that's what's giving you the problem, the first start of the day. In the morning disconnect the sensor, and see if it fires up straight away like it should. Also have a search around on this forum as to what the resistance should be on the sensor, as I have read it here before somewhere.
  14. Hi, I'm after the rubber hangers that the G60 airbox is attached to on the car. Not sure how many they are. I think look like rubber bands of some sort.
  15. Let me know what parts you have left over for the windscreen, as I will be interested in buying them form you. Mine has already had windscreen replaced, and by the looks of it the fitter cut the rubbers for some Fin reason.
  16. I'm not sure of that, as I am also quite new to the G60. But I have read something like that to, just can't remember where. I guess you could just try it, and see if there is any difference and its free to unplug it. Lol
  17. Did you buy new window seals for the windscreen, or did you just use your old ones? I need some paint sorting out on my A pillar, which will probably need the windscreen taking out to do the job properly.
  18. What he means is, use a multimeter set to ohms and measure the resistance across the 2 pins of the blue temp sensor. If you don't have access to a multimeter, you might be probably better of just buying a new sensor and trying it in the car. Don't think the sensor are much. But I have read threads where people have bought new sensor which have been duff, from new. So it be better buying one from the dealers or ECP.
  19. Have a look at the link bellow, will show you what's what and where on the G60 engine. http://www.corrado-club.ca/forum/viewtopic.php?t=4198
  20. Keep at it, and hope you get all sorted soon. I would also look at the wiring on MAF, as these also can cause running issues. Have you tried sticking the car on Vagcom, not sure if car has the OBD2 port. But it might bring something up if it does have a fault
  21. Dropped the G60 off today, to have the old alarm and immobiliser taken out. Which according to the receipts was fitted in 1995, so I think it was due change. Having Cobra 4138hf fitted with full closure and microwave sensors, instead of the normal ultra sonics. So the cabin should look nice and clean, with no sensor on the 'A' pillars. Have also placed an order with VW for some genuine mats.
