    id say if you are going to keep it and want a safe and reliable car then go for the VR6. but if you like to tinker under the engine and mod it up go for the G60..or best of both worlds get a VR6 and charge it!!

    yeah ive got the same problem as this, jumps about 10mph and back again, usually only happens at speed 60mph+, ive replaced the speedo unit with one from some other clocks so it must be the sensor, anyone help ?

    buy the best one you can get, you'll only get bored and want to upgrade it again!! trust me!!

    ive been running tesco 99 in my G60 for a about 3 months now, and find that not only is it cheaper than Shell/BP it also seems to increase performance more. (however car wasnt really mapped properly until a few weeks ago)

    prices cant be unreasonable otherwise you would be out of business!! i used to see one pro car valet guy washing a crysler (sp?) voyager every two weeks at one guys house i delivered to, and he was still there when i was finishing work 7 hours later!! id be stopping for a cup of tea every 45 minutes!! got to be dedicated to be able to polish and clean a chunk of plastic and metal to that standard--especially when its not even your own car!!

    a few days before Goodwood revival i saw a green fastback mustang, like steve mcqueens in the film, driving around my town...very nice!! and i guy on my postround has a 53plate mustang and that sounds really nice!!

    ive dug out some bits left over from fitting my DDI gauges and i am going to convert the lcd display to reverse red colour i.e red numbers black background. but ive lost the polarizing film, anybody have some that i can have or know where to buy it from ??

    i had polished estorils on my old grey G60 (see sig below) they were nice, ive just got some RMs coming to me in the post as we speak, might be selling them tho if you are interested (as i may be selling the whole car, considering a charged MK3 golf VR6 :D )

    could get insured on a Jag XJR for 400 squid more tho....still very tempting, ill feel better when i get this toothed belt off...it keeps eating belts which is pi*sing me off a bit
