£6500, windows out, proper job done. few things smoothed over removed, fantastic finish on the paint....

i just took my rear beam to bit and junked my splash guards as im fitting 280 rear brakes, from the group buy, you could of had mine! ah well nevermind. you may want a set of Irwins to take the bolts out of the stub axles/shields. As ive found out with most of the bolts on the corrado, probably do without a socket set all together!
-
agreed, MUCH better! just need to get those wheel on there and it'll look really smart! especially with a screaming 16VG60 with a BBM!
-
hehe, well quick update, it fell off as i was driving to the garage this morining to take it off! its now sitting in the boot of my car!
-
cool, cheers for that. looks like ill be taking it off tommorrow then.
-
nah go R32! im converting my G60 to an R32 might be a bit of a ball ache to get started, but just gives so much more scope!
-
yeah they'll get on there im sure, might need to knock them on with a hammer but once they are on just wind it on and it'll remove them.
-
2nd the IRWINS. most of the bolts on my VR were rusted in solid (to the point where i sheared one wishbone bolt, :bad-words: ) IRWINS were a godsend. They have worked on everything so far!
-
now ive lowered my VR6 a bit, the CAT shield under the car has come loose and is knocking on the ground. DOH! now i know the easy thing to do is to go and get it welded back on there properly, BUT do i actually need it? i mean i could just go over another speedbump and take it off again? what do you guys do with stainless exhausts ?
-
yeah, i'd go for an R32. think its the best option. you get near 300bhp without any strain on the engine at all. and the potential for silly power. but the 20vt would be the cheaper option i presume.

voted...looks like she is out in front at the moment... :D

hehe...one day you will see the light....its all down to potential, and someone making an offer on some essential G60 parts, luckily its all come at the right time, and i'd be silly to pass up the offer of fitting a silky smooth 6 cylinder, ive experienced a VR6 and now theres no going back....I WANT MORE!!!
-
i was under the impression you were selling up and doing something else?
-
yup it is indeed. i will be putting up a for sale thread in the next few days for all my parts including the engine, (when i get the full specs on it)
-
god how boring is this...24
-
she is no longer going to be having a 4 cylinder engine, ive seen the light....Tom, Ben....you will soon be in employment in my garage....
-
are those manifolds an off the shelf product or did it have to be be made specifically for your corrado ?
-
ditto, my german isnt really up to scratch :(
-
can somebody please tell me the correct order for assembling a pair of Koni front shocks? i.e... shock absorber > spring > etc etc, just want to put them together correctly....
-
i'd deffo take one, but need to know soonish as ive got to fit one to my G60 at some point...
-
VAG and gwerks is the way to go, could even get them to look over the car if you drive it down there, make sure there are no more gremlins lurking under the bonnet.

ooo, think one side is discontinued, and the other side was, well, VERY rare when i got mine. think i had the second to last one, and that must have been about 2 months ago, so may too be discontinued!
