VR6 clutch is fine but you have to get the correct one as there are two types with different splines counts. I think IIRC it's the ABV engine code one. Apparently you can also use a diesel clutch but I'm not sure of the details.

I had a allegro too for about 3 months. It was given to us by the wife's mum and dad as they were, embarrassingly, restoring them for a bit! If you ever saw the first program of the Mark Evans' series "A Car is Reborn" He interviews the mother-in-law in the back of their Vanden-Plas Allegro and asks her "WHY?!?" :lol: Anyway I digress, the one they gave to us used to spin you round on corners for fun with no warning and no chance of recovering it and then one day on the way home from work i braked lightly to give a stupid pigeon a chance to get out the way and the front suspension collapsed and pulled the driveshaft out the wheel hub at which point ball bearing ran all over the road. The next day after it had been vandalised by the local scum, it went the scrap yard! It was a bloody death trap! I still don't think the in-laws have forgiven me for that. We used to call it the silver bullet....... we were being sarcastic!

Very interested in finding out this Part No. I was looking for a bigger MC for my Audi S2 calipers I have but couldn't quite pin down the right part I remember looking at Audi 2000 MC but not 5000GT! I too have no ABS, fun isn't it! :eek:

I had nothing against Ferrari until this season started and the steward's points started being awarded to Ferrari for no apparent/consistent reason. If the stewards hadn't of been so biased towards Ferrari this season the championship would of been over a couple of races before the last race of the season!
