Glad to hear you got out of that flat with the tramps! :salute:

Yes all 02A internals are interchangable, the tallest 5th available would come from an ASD code diesel box, my next box will include an ASD 5th, AGK 3rd and 4th, and asd 1&2. I was going to use a diesel final drive but know considering a vr one.
-
yep chn,ccm are vr6 boxes with internals that can be used in a g60 box. Try Vince at stealthracing for more info and to have the work done or gearboxman. No the corrado had maybe 10 different gearboxes, some of those codes are 16v, g60 and vr.
-
If your rebuilding I'd get a VR CHN,CCM code box and swap everything into a 4 pot 02A casing.

Of course, but I think you know what I mean. Having a smooth wheel torque transition between gears is the ideal scenario, so that when you change gear at the optimum rpm your next gears wheel torque is as close as possible to the previous gears wheel torque figure at the next gears lower rpm.

Got the PAS pump off for you today. :)

Judith How did Batchglow go about blasting all the awkward hidden from direct view areas? And how did they check these areas? Presumably for nylon coating they'd need to blast to a fairly high Swedish SA standard? How did they keep all the mating surfaces free of nylon? Did you keep the bush tubes clear of nylon? Sorry to bombard you - the questions just seem to naturally present themselves. :? Beat me to it phil! :) Going to be doing this soon and would like to know too!

What did the lads at work reckon of it? Recently rebuilt?

I dare not ask but where was your wife?

I used a golf G60 FMIC type rad but it wasn't an easy fit. I don't know about the VRs. -

I have a bigger rad and it does really help, hardly ever hear the fans running and coolant temps stay low. :D -
I was chasing Ben around this morning with my penis out. I guess that could put a lot of people off. Nah!

I've got some 2nd hand for £50! :D viewtopic.php?f=13&t=86510

Each to there own! :salute: Oh never really been a believer in the SNS nondigilagcode. I think they just tell the ECU to stop working of the lambda sooner is all! Not really code as such.

Schrick won't give a lumpy idle, Stock paper filter flows more than a K&N panel filter, I wouldn't go with an open filter the noise above a steady 3k is very annoying, wah wah wah...etc :)
-
Riley is right, eat the boost! At least look at a 268/276 schrick cam to give a bit more at the top end, maybe a ported cast exhaust manifold aswell! :)
-
Guess it's the acid! I'd check' em before bed there might not be much left of anything by the morning!

I love this project! :luvlove: What are those wheels on the red car on your website.

BE CAREFUL! Mind you I think you have 13 of them now!

Toasty! Hot enough for EVIL! My exhaust manifold is around 850?C at full chat!
