Ok my cars in for a respray and just thought about removing the bonnets windscreen jets holes. Has any one done this? Im a little unsure of where to mount the washer jets after the mod, noticed mk4 golfs have them on the underside of the bonnets lip, hows this work Any other ideas? dont want the jets on the wipers themselves cheers

cool thanks guys, the reason i ask is i have an idea for side indicators that may and may not work. will post the results up once ive attempted it
-
blackcat, now thats a usefull response. The actual rate of the flashing isnt a great importance, the thing im trying to find out is the angle at which the lights from side indicators must be visible at. But those links dont say anything so i asume as long as you can see flashing when looking straight at them then its legal, what you think thanks

iow_corrado_g60, i'm sorry but that doesnt really help.

I know that if your car has been made after a certain year it needs to have amber side indicators but the question i need to have answered is: Are there any other rules about them, ie where they must be positioned what angle the light should be seen , the speed they flash at etc etc

Lucky how the roll didnt damage the axles or anything you needed. is it my mistake or does that ralley have a standard golf front wing? -
just done a quick search and it sais that front and sides are bonded but the rear isnt
-
Got my car in the garage and the guy has broke my rear boot glass. He said he couldnt take it out because it was bonded into the boot. I thought they just used traditional seals Am i wrong? I know the windscreens bonded in but arent the side and rear glass pieces just normal seals? thanks

noise could be the exhaust contracing and making a pinking noise. steering could be due to slipping PAS belt

rember seeing a parking sensor setup that goes around the number plate so it avoids drilling holes into the bumpers.

That thing in the middle of the second picture looks to be part of an alarm switch, its nothing to do with the release of the bonnet. look again

Well i used a ss scorpion boxter shaper full system made for a mk2 golf gti 16v, and this fitted no problem into my corrado 2.0 16v. I cant be 100% sure that yours will fit but theres a good chance that there wont be any problems I originally thought the shape of the system would be different on each car but lifted the car up and compared before taking old system off. with the tailbox its probably the easiest one to swap because its the easiest to get to if the cars rear has been lifted to get access so if you werent sure then just try it out. One guy actually told me he fitted a gold to a rado (not sure which) but he had knocking problems, i think it probably wasnt fitted right. let me know how it goes because if yours fits then this info will help others
