i actually sold my bk299 to help sell my golf that i had. i love the look of the bk299's so im actually looking for a replacement set. the pictures attached above are ones that ive come across but im not mad on any of them really. -
what are peoples opinions on these wheels? im having trouble narrowing down. i like the last two best. the wheels are to go on my aqua blue pearl corrado
-
you do realise im on about using a shift light module
-
well find the light that lights up last and use those wire to light up any other leds.
-
course just wire up the wires which power the 750rpm light and wire it up to the other leds.
-
some one i talked to on here put oem lens on them but he said the lens ruined the light pattern.

I once heard a story about t trainee filling up a diesel to the brim with oil, started it up then found out that they couldnt turn it off. something to do with the way diesels work. they had to wait till it died i think

oops lol I end up using the map more anyway due to the missus not using it right so I might leave it as it is. just didnt look right the other way around.
-
how did this guy do it? did the car hit or get caught on something as it was going up?
-
erm, may have put it in in the wrong way. have I? I took it off a passat at the scrappy. RHD
-
didnt realise you were keeping the origininal panel. i remember seeing that thread too. you should still be able to do one touch open/close with a closure module though
-
hmm good point. Wouldnt mind just buying a pair of lens's to make audi style headlamps like DDI did
-
yeah those parts are what I needed to convert it. Suppose you could have one touch open if you use a closure module. I may try that. If I succeed I'll let you know
-
doesnt anyone know which wire comes from the central locking to operate the auto close feature on the windows/suroof? :fadein:
-
to be honest the main reason was because I was unbale to remove the motor off the sunroof (rounded off screw), so I had to stick with, i could have drilled it off but thought might aswell do the whole change to late correctly. the new switch operates as before ie forward and backwards but it also has a third buttom which allows you to press and hold so it will go to tilt position from what ever position its in already. Ill also wire it up to the alarm to enable full closure as soon as i know how, pretty sure that the one wire thats for total closure just needs a +ve pulse to fully close the sunroof.

im on 60mm drop but im a tripple hard b@st@rd lol Dont forget if you need a hand mate with the up and coming work let me know. Really looking forward to it. put those springs you have in the shed on the rado now!!
-
theres a wiring diagram on the switch, will use that to change the wires around. thanks for help anyway
-
hmm the front part does swap over but its not the best way. would rather do it by rewiring it. this will do for now
-
they are different sizes
-
you sure? i have the later light but im sure they look different will go check
-
Can someone help me with rewiring th ABS warning light switch? I have an early car with late interior change and I want to put the correct lwarning light on. Will the wires match? if no could someone help me out? tried looking at wiring diagrams but cant find the late version wiring.
