Sorry mate....you don't get them. You'll have to get some OE HE ones from a breakers or something? You could also persuade someone to "lend" you a couple, send 'em to Samco and get 'em to make some up to add onto the VR6 packs? Thinking about it, I'm pretty sure I'm gonna have to order a weird set of pipes due to having got rid of the heat exchanger and having an external oil cooler now...

Make sure you're either on some strong drugs, or sat strapped down when they tell you the price!  I know that one hose on a G60 is around £60 from VAG... :?

You should be able to get a decent paint shop to match the colour of your alloys and make you up a spray can of the correct colour... works well ;) 8) Or you could do the wheels at the same time with some decent alloy wheel silver paint so you can get a good finish to 'em and they'll match... Just make sure you take your time, and mask off the tyre properly... quick tip, let the tyre down, put a plastic bag over the wheel from the back, and use a piece of string to pull the plastic in between the tyre and the wheel rim slightly while you paint the wheel... stops overspray onto the tyre brilliantly! ;) Otherwise, (and more expensively!) get the wheels re-furbed with the centercaps as well! ;) As for my MSN, yeah, sorry about that, my server died at home so my internet access has been a bit hit and miss when I'm at home... The Borbet C alloys were on the car when I bought it, and then I got 3 better ones (don't ask, it's a long story!) from Caios_G60PWR (they were in his shed!) so I've now got 6 that are all about to go for refurbishment and one that's an different offset (again, long story... )

If they're just looking a bit rough, sand 'em down and repaint 'em... 8)

Yeah, I'm interested in a water hose set for my G60 in blue.... How much? it's not listed on that page...

see HERE for full details... 8)

New motor.. :? I'd bet the bushes inside the motor are dead... Does it only work on 4th speed as wel? If so, then you need to replace the thermal fuse while you're changing the motor... Euro do the motor (inc. fan) for £49.50 Now for the good news: it's easy to change the fan motor it's easy to change the fan's thermal fuse The thermal fuse is about 50p from Maplins or RScomponents I'm getting one for my 'rado just so I don't have to do it again later on... The one out of the 'rado's going into my Driver to replace the dead fan in there... It's a bit cold on the way to work at the moment... :|

nope, I used light bulbs as normal and I've removed the green instrument filters completely so they're lit with white/yellow light and put red filters in behind the LCDs... I tried blue filters on my MKII Golf, but I found it tiring on the eyes... :?
-
just to add, you don't need to remove the steering wheel like on a MKI, just use the adjuster to drop it right down... 8)

Depends on which engine you've got... 16V could be either belt (P/S or water/alternator) G60 it's most likely to be the P/S belt, but the charger belts do slip too, although I've yet to hear one screech... 8V Dunno, never worked on one, although I'd guess at the same as the 16V... VR6, again dunno.... If you've got one that's screeching, it's normally a good idea to replace both anyway... 8)

that's the bunny... strike that one off the list then... :|
-
Yup, it used to be called BugFreeze, but they're trying to move it over to be more Watercooled as well... 8)

Dunno if it's the same on a 'rado as it is on a Golf, but there's some rubber bushes that hold the steering rack onto the car... If they've gone rotten or just worn badly, you'd get all sorts of vague feelings in the handling... :| worth a look? :?

They're not allowed to use the VAG connectors by european law... The original connectors and wiring will fit perfectly if you drill out two holes per rear outer lamp. (they're even marked!) The reason they don't fit as supplied is so that you can't accidentally use clear normal bulbs and have to use amber bulbs with an offset pin... hence the supplied alternative light fittings with offset pin amber bulbs... 8) I've drilled these holes out on mine (all of a 40 second per side job!) and have got some straight pin silvertech bulbs which flash amber... job sorted, no wiring hassles or anything. My FKs also fitted straight onto the car and lined up perfectly... No messing, re-alligning or farting about required.... 8) The finish on them isn't quite VAG, but then they're mass produced aftermarket BLING bits... what do you expect?!?

Dealer, GSF or Euro... Prices vary from about £12 to £27 depending on where you get it from... ;)

Check out http://www.dubfreeze.co.uk for full details... 8)

 fair enough... I did have to recheck just to make sure I wasn't going mad... you're normally spot on with interior stuff. 8) 5x7? that's a very odd size... Probably something weird like a Ford...

either DOT 4 or DOT 5.1 are OK in any Corrado, you can happily mix them too, so I'd be tempted to DOT5.1 it from now on... ;) The rear calipers are pretty easy to change, it's all pretty standard tool to do the job too... Have a look at getting a MKII Golf Haynes manual as the rear brakes are exactly the same (and it covers your engine too! ;) ) and has a good guide to changing them in there.... 8) If it's the seal that's gone (not uncommon!) then it's a lot easier to just get hold of a new / recon caliper rather than try to repair it yourself if you've never done brake caliper repairs before... 8)

OK, I'll lock this one and put a pointer in to the other thread... Continue this discussion HERE please! ;)

I had this same problem before my engine let go (unrelated fault! ) I'm pretty sure it's one of 2 things, either a dodgy earth to the dashboard clocks, or a dodgy speed sensor. My bets are on the speed sensor... I've since checked all the wiring while my dash was out, and it all looks OK, and it did it with a different set of clocks I tried too, which is why I reckon it's the sensor... ;) 8)

   I'd not seen that one before (a bit before my car hifi days! ;) :-P ) it sounds like a masterpiece of engineering though! About right for Nakamitchi though...

Why not just buy a MKII golf driver with a towbar already fitted?!? You'll get one for around £400 and won't have to mess up the 'rado in the process... ;) IIRC the towbar for the Corrado uses the same mounts as the bumper and most of 'em require you to cut a hole in the bumper to fit 'em. There's no problem with the fuel tank being in the way though... The electrics will be required to fit one, but IIRC, there's take-off points on the back of the lights already for the trailer lights, so it's pretty easy to wire in... 8) The do crop up on ebay quite regularly, so keep your eyes peeled... You could also try these guys who seem really good and sell loads on ebay...

Nakamichi's still going... and still flippin' expensive! Sound nice though... :)

Well, the 6x4s that I've got fit perfectly... They're the same as in the MKI and MKII (and probably MKIII ! ) golf rears too! I've also got some Alpines that are 6x4 and fit, but are headed to my MKI and some Blaupunkt and Nokia ones that I really need to bin! What make 6x4s did you get? Most speaker manufacturers say that 6x4 fit the rear of the Corrado... (Mine are JBL GTO 642 if anyone's interested...) click here for JBL's size guide for Corrados...

It means that the BBC are hiring muppets (ill-informed ones at that) to write their web-pages... ;)  It's actually MORE economic in a modern, fuel injected car to accellerate hard (about 2/3 throttle) to the speed you want to be at and then cruise in 5th, than to change gear early as tip 2 suggests.... Also, most modern cars are geared to be most fuel economic at around 62mph not 50... Yup... Muppets who read old '50s/60's "how to drive" guides...
