    I bought 2 X 1.5 litre of g13 recently. Used about 80 percent of it with distilled water.

    I would tend to agree with you...... they don't fit that well either... mine rocks back and forward as the bonnet lifts and shuts..... I only paid a fiver so don't mind too much.

    I bought from heritage.. About 6 quid plus postage. Bought some strut caps too which were about 1.50 each. Can sort part numbers out for you later.. Edit... C3a2-955-128 motor cover cap 1h0-412-358 strut cap

    Enjoy... Took me a while to change ignition switch... You bent and screwdrivers yet for the job. Changed mine for a genuine vag one was about 35 quid... But you can buy cheaper versions came to the conclusion its a job I only want to do once so bought genuine part. Have you saved the head unit ? Have you put heat sink on the terminals of the glove box light. I did this so it would never short... Also the same with the boot light.

    My dash was okay... It was just switched positive that went. Thought I had knackered a new alpine. But worked after changing ignition switch. Put a volt metre on the switched positive wire on the ISO loom.. Check you have power when ignition is on and and nothing when off. If you don't have a volt metre you could just use a bulb.

    I knackered an ignition switch this way too... Lesson learnt anything electrical fiddling, battery off....
