sort of jumping up and down would indicate to me that the relay is switching one way then the other as if there isn't enough voltage.............

Yup easy peasy 10 min job, just make sure you pay close attention to which way round the resistor is as well as the path it takes as there are a couple of important earths on its tracks

As far as i'm aware there isn't, so thats a solution.....but what about removing the thing completely?

Evening all, I changed the oil on my car yesterday and found that the unit thats on top of where the filter screws into was leaking oil. Was talking to Supercharged before who said that they often fail and that i might be able to get rid of it. If this is correct how do i go about it, what bits do i need?? Thanks in advance.......

Yeah, i agree. Certainly looks like a HG fail, but still worth checking your fluids. indications show that coolant level should be low.

A chap across the road to me was doing his best to p155 everyone off, had an arguement with my neighbour about parked cars and then proceded to park his car directly oposite mine and their driveway out of spite, he had some massive seat Albatros people carrier or somthing! His car was there for about a day when i noticed a huge scratch the length of the car, the person who done must have applied some serious pressure as the metal was actually dented as well, i just chuckled to myself and went on my way.

Which is fine at night as the dash lights are very obvious, but what about those dull days when you put your lights on and forget to switch them off again because you can't see the dash lights? like i did last friday :oops:

well if air is leaking out before the ISV then it wouldn't operate as efficently, but the pressure of air coming down there isn't that great so you probably wouldn't notice a difference.........i didn't when i had the same thing.
