Ignition switch needs replacing, not expensive but an arse of a job to do as its a tiny screw in a very inconvenient place!
-
also that numbers 1 digit too long, unless some areas are taking on 7 digit numbers

How many of us have near original spec Corrados?

Mine's completely standard at the moment bar an immobiliser and retrofit aero rear wiper, but that doesn't count......some pics in the stealth RR day thread -
Well if your willing to spend money on you lights then they're an option, there are a couple of quite in depth threads on here somewhere

Here ya go, half way down the page. Clickage

Indeed, i drove past a woman driving a J reg G60 on the A12 this morning who was doing 60mph...............was thinking that she was waiting for me to catch up, but no :(
-
Well....A decent loom should have at least 2 relays, 20 amp in line fuses, well terminated and well insulated.........
-
All normal temps, depending on where i'm driving the temps go up and down.....i wouldn't worry
-
Water temp looks normal, 126* seems very high. Change the temp sender first though before starting anything mechanical
-
 think you would probably notice the slick of oil and water rather than the temp gauge if it was doing that....
-
Either way sounds fine to me, why's it worrying you? as long as it's not overheating (115* - 120*+ water / oil) you'll be fine
-
Get some, H4 Osram Silverstars... Improved my lights well enough, get the loom as well if you can.
-
especially as there only about £2 from VWSpares
-
He also does a money back guarantee, can't loose really...

ooooooooo a smoke machine rigged to blow under the car.........

Powder coating some parts of my Corrado, what colours ???

Yeah, cant go wrong with black Would be interested in how much it costs to do various bits....... -
Right, you'll be pleased to know that all is now done! Managed to get a long HSS drill bit onto the head of each screw and take the tops off, the problem then was that the thread of the screw was still in plastic. What we then had to do was bend the bracket where it screws into away from the light unit, once done removal was fine! Refitting was another challenge as the brackets where now in the wrong place, but a pair of pliers soon sorted that.... Replaced the bulbs with the Osram Siverstars and i can highly recommend them, i know that i can probably benefit from a uprated loom but the brightness of the lights I'd say are the same if not better than in my previous car........
-
Just remove the sump plug for a short time then quickly put it back in.............?????
-
and distributer cap  Probably worth wodging a load of kitchen paper into where the spark plugs go, after you've finished to dry up any moisture.....just in case
-
Yeah mine is too, changing the fuel filter might sort that....cant imagine that it'll make any difference to the fueling either
-

well they need to be easily readable don't they and by looking at your signiture yours certainly isn't. Also the ole DVLA tax cheking cameras read the front number plate....... -
I used the '3 in 1' universal degreaser, yellowy greenish tin. Worked really well on removing built up oil and general crud. It also smells nice!

You talking about the metal plate inside the airbox?
