    d90's....

Same setup i'm running matey, would defo go with the 30's the wheels sit spot on imo If i had to do it again i'd go with the H&R adpators, alot better than the FK ones i'm using but the FK's still do the job :D
  3. See you  If you haven't got that rado sorted before mine is back on the road i'll take it away from you  Golf looks good bud, any more plans for it? Was meaning to speak to you about a ring trip, need to try and organise something?!
  4. Aye mike, you have a steady hand  You skiving again? text you back re saturday night btw Miss the damn corrado more than ever now and it's hard to get the motivation to get out and work on it when the temps are in the negatives
  5. It's off the road for the winter, but i thought i'd get some of the major jobs done in that time!! like clutch, rear axle bushes etc Getting there slowly but surely  I'm intrigued, what are you doing with your rado now? Reconstruction could be many things

Cheers mate, don't get me wrong, polished D90's look the mutts nuts but with mine i think it would have been ott Hope you get some sorted soon 8) Ps. I'm running 30mm adapters if that helps.

As she went in Some rolling shots Porsche Garage Currently working on Rear axle bushes (fitted just not on car yet) Replacing every single brake pipe Rear braided lines Plans: Shrick sump (should be arriving with Mr. Claus  ) 4 branch More lowering Leather (Just needs cleaned up and fitted) All comments appreciated :D

    d90's....

Really wanted to polish my D90's but went with a metallic silver powdercoat in the end and prefer it now :D Nice OE look Can't get the full effect from the photo but looks standard silver in dull light and really sparkles in the sun 8) Ps. I know it needs to be lower
  9. Pretty sure all models have a 228mm clutch 8)
  10. Just for future reference, C&R can do a front and middle (over axle) kit or a full 6 line kit. Unfortunately they can't do a middle and rear line kit which is what i'm after :( So a full 6 line kit will have to suffice :?
  11. I actually think the 'pop-ups' look awesome, but can imagine they would be on the buyers guide for common faults
  12. Can't believe i live so close to alva and i've never seen your car  Prices of corrado's have dropped alot recently so wouldn't wanna put a price on yours!! :offtopic1: Do you get it mot'd @ village garage in plean ? they keep telling me about a monster red rado everytime i'm in with mine
  13. Think he means dampening adjustable shocks, not height adjustable. In my experience 2nd hand suspension drops (£) quite considerably even with lowish miles. :(
  14. Glad i could be of service :salute:
  15. Bulb should just push into the back of the gauge, i've got a TIM gauge and it's just a small bulb with a rubber protector on it. Pull the gauge out and take a good look before stumping up for a new one :?
  16. Really simple one but make sure the ECU vaccum hose has split or perished.
  17. Cheers guys, can see me at this for the next few weeks  But yeah going down the poly route, didn't fancy having to press new ones in!! Best get the drill out then :rambo:
  18. Alright Folks, need some advice I've removed the rear axle and i'm just wondering if there is any tried and tested techniques to removing the bushes? Without VW special tool 3111!! Not in a rush as the G is off the road for the winter, but i do have a huge list of work to do  Or is it easier just to take the axle down to a garage and get them to remove them? TIA Andy
  19. Hey folks, will have the back axle off the corrado soon so thought it's the best time to stick some braided lines :D But I already have them up front for the brembos, so does anyone know of somewhere i can just buy a rear set? TIA Andy
  20. Must have missed this  Really feel for you buddy, remember seeing the old girl pass me only a couple of weeks ago!! No more rado fleeing into dunblane first thing in the morning anymore :(
  21. The car was stunning when i saw it that night, but would probably make sense money wise to sell the leather separate :)
  22. There is a boost test guide in the wiki, but whatever you do don't hold the second butterfly closed  Think it's 2 second blast or there abouts?! Best to do it with someone else there as moving the linkage and listening for leaks is hard to do on your own  Did the garage have the clocks out? worth checking the hose hasn't just popped off, only 4 screws to get the surround off then 2/4 screws to take the binnacle out, but you might have to take the steering wheel off?!
  23. Enough tinkering with the golf, get stuck into the Corrado this winter :norty: You know you want to
  24. I was told to make sure the tyre pressures are spot on, other wise can give a less accurate reading?! Bit nerve racking at first, but great to be standing behind your car at full chat
  25. What footwell? When my pipes cracked the hiss was always louder in the pass. side footwell. Your right though, there is a tube for the MFA behind the clocks but it's probably too small to make any sort of major noise?! I maybe wrong though!! Got the squeeky noise too, used an inner tube from a bike but still got a screaming/squeel on full boost   Also noticed these on ebay, doesn't look anything like the BBM kit but might be worth a try?! http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/VW-CORRADO-G60-PO ... dZViewItem
