I can get a small discount on the brembo disks (10%) but their still expensive... :( If marcus recomends the ones hes using their probably worth a go... Graham
-
Youll be surprised at how thin the new pads will be, there nothing like the thickness of a standard pad because of the design of the caliper..... Ill ring round tomorow and see how much I can get a set of disks in a decent make for you Karl I take it you want the to be grooved? Graham

Indeed but just coz you spend 2k doesnt mean its a better job, I dont want to sound arrogant but my car has won a few trophies so the paint cant be bad.... Its not always how much you pay but the standard of the work... The best thing to do IMHO...when you see a great paint job ask who did it then go and see the painter and talk it through... Graham

My respray was done by a mate (at mate rates) but he said to do a full respray would be £1500 but if you want any mods done itd be extra. Graham

VR6 rebuild - Downpipe and exhaust tacked up

Heres a few pics of what I did today... This is the view I had this morning...15 years of dirt and oil! After about 2 hours of cleaning...Autoglym engine and machine cleaner is brilliant stuff :D Only a few small patches of rust not bad for 15 years old Then I started cutting off all the bits I dont need with a grinder... After that I just put a bit of primer on as a temporary measure to stop the rust while I get the welding done And last but not least a pic of my interior  lol -
Might be worth putting a post up asking if theres anyone local to you who would be willing to help (someone experienced enough obviously) If you do have a go yourself make sure you get the head skimmed Graham
-
Shame your not closer to me I could have done it for you Graham
-
One of mine Good quality and a great fit Graham
-
Yeah I use one of those if its gone green it means the exhaust gasses are getting into the coolant and increasing the pressure in the system... which would explain the heater matrix blowing the design is crap anyway and then it blows from all the pressure... Sorry to give you bad news mate :( Graham

205/40 17's with an offset of 35 will be fine but If you run the car really low you might need some archwork
