  1. LOL yeah already said thanks in the monthly meet thread so wasn't going to do it again or you'll get a big head :D It's nothing that photoshp cant sort out later just cant be arsed to do it now :D
  2. Been a while so thought I would post up some new pics taken today :D
  3. Audi S2 20v turbo every time 4wd, good looks, good build quality and plenty of potential to be a tarmac muncher!!!
  4. When mine snapped it took 2 of the exhaust valves with it. Luckily I managed to get 2 new valves for £12 each and got the valve seat re cut so they didn't leak and job was a goodun. For the sake of a £2 bolt just change it to be on the safe side and forgwet about it. I was a little pissed off when mine broke coz 2 days before I had heard about henny's biting the dust, so I went and got one but hadn't had time to fit it, which was the next thing on my list of things to do!!!
  5. I had the same problem steve once I got my car sorted, I noticed the oil level was about an inch over the max mark on the dip stick so I just dumped the oil and and replaced it with fresh synta and a new filter and at £12 all in for oil and filter it didn't exactly break the bank either. Haven't you got to the bottom of your problems yet?
  6. Today i have mostly been polishing up my alternator casing and cleaning some of the crud out of the car thats been festering in there for a few weeks!
  7. The violet wire and the black wire go upto the ecu in a shielded black cable like a coax cable. the brown and white wire goes back to the ecu as well and if you've got anything left of your old loom at all then you will be able to trace it up there with a multimeter. The other straight brown wire is the short one that comes out of the lambda plug and joins onto a brackert on the rear engine mount where the probe pl;ug is. the other wires are the wires out of the probe. I would either recomend getting a genuine lambda probe as they aren't all that dear and will save you alot of wiring grief or get a motaquip probe with the part number of VOS303 and the wiring kit which is VOS300 this will just plug straight in to the factory wiring plug. The motoquip probe and kit costs around £45 all in. If you cant get one and the oe one is too dear let me know and I will be able to get you one for monday. cheers Ant
  8. It maybe just the speedo sensor it'll be on the gearbox towards the back near where the nearside drive shaft meets the gearbox flange. You'll know when you see it as it is the only component in that area that has wires going to it. The replacement part number if it is that is 357 919 149 I haven't personally had to buy one but I dont think that they are that expensive from the dealers.
  9. with yellow inds as well hmmm not so good lol and now with angel eyes and reiger grille 8) YES I am bored lol
  10. What engine have you got? Taking one out isn't hard at all reall, the general tools you'll need is a good socket set, splne/allen set ( for inner cv joint-driveshaft flanges, stubby ratchet and 15mm deep socket (for exhaust manifold-downpipe joint) Engine crane is very usesfull but if your only going to do the job once or twice then borrow a mates one or hire one ( they're about £30 a day from a hire centre) Taking the front end off the car makes the job alot easier and doesn't take long to take off, theres 8x 10mm bolts that hold the slam panel on and 4 bumper bolts. Hope this helps
  11. Erm it is still kinda in the pipeline just getting quotes on getting a inlet manifold fabricated at the mo. If you wanna sell the head back to me I'll be more than willing to buy it back off of you :D Going to take my car to be rolling roaded next week so see how that goes, be interesting to see what it puts out now!
