Agree with Graeme on this one I had exactly the same problem with mine and it was the silver recal valve by the bulkhead that was the problem I just replaced it and all was good again They're about £20 trade from the stealers iirc

the ecu will retard the ignition timing if there is det. But if the cam timing is a few teeth out it will losing power due to the valves opening and closing at the wrong times. There is a diagram of how to time up a G60 floating around on this forum somewhere, I think Henny has posted it up before might be useful to give to your mechanic to show him exactly where the markers should be lined upto.

Basically yeah in the old top mount there is a little threaded cylindrical washer that screws down onto the top mount to hold it steady in place you need that transferred over to the new top mount. When you take the old suspension off you'll see what I mean.

If your local motor factors deal with LUCAS they should be able to get them done we used to charge about £40 for a set of 4 to be done.

boschmann are cheap tat! personally I would steer clear of them. Its worth saving up for a decent set of components or if budget is really that tight the JBL GTO506ce 5 1/4 components would do the job nicely and are only a little over your budget at £50 ish quid

Purple wire is the signal wire from the lambda sensor!

It's not the chip with the red top map steve, it's the green top mapped chip that I sold him but I cant remember if it had the coding for the 3 bar fpr or the 3.5bar. I was running it with the 3.5bar as that only came out of the car once we had fitted the 1.9 lump in it. Critical_Mass If you want a 3.5bar fpr I still have the one from my corrado just drop me a pm if your interested! cheers Ant

Work equip alloys are extremely rare I ve only seen them on one other car in this country so far! Been trying to get some centre caps if you know anyone chris? Cant find anywhere on the net that will sell me some! Screamer pipes are nuts they are so loud!!!! Mines going for another rolling road session this weekend :D At the last session it put out just over 300whp but now I ve upped the boost a bit and had the apexi pfc ecu re mapped I should be seeing some better figures :D

My mate has 4x 8" jl audios right behind his head in his mr2 turbo they absolutely rock! Easily comparable to 2x 10" subs in the boot!

The toyo's T1-R's are a good tyre I had them fitted to my 17's on the rado before I took ity off the road and they seemed really grippy in the wet and dry so imo they are a good tyre. If you goto http://www.mytyres.co.uk I think they're about £30 each there if they're not your thing then there are plenty of other top brands that are under the £40 mark!

The Stig from series 1 through to series 3 was Perry McCarthy, who was formerly a formula 1 driver and has also been a test driver for the Benneton, arrows and williams teams, but from series 4 he has changed (remember the staged death of him when he drove off the end of the aircraft carrier!!!) Hence the change in overalls from all black to all white.
