    Feck...

^^^^^^ I agree get that pump off and replace it they're a hell of alot cheaper than replacing the complete bottom end!
  2. If the audi rs4 and 6 are out of your league how about an audi s2 coupe they still look great, handle well being 4wd, the dash is well set and the price is right and they're 230bhp std! I'll just say take one for a test drive they're great fun!!!
  3. On mt golf I had gti badges in place of the side repeaters and never had issues with MOT!
  4. Anyone know of a good sealant to make a decent seal for my split rims having trouble finding any info on them, I was thinking RTV silicone sealant would do the job but am unsure and dont want to goto all the trouble of getting them back together to find that it's leaking again! Is there a recommended method of doing it as well, for instance letting the sealant semi harden and then join the 2 surfaces together, or do I put the together straight from the off and let them cure overnight? Any help would be appreciated thanks Ant
  5. It will only be logged as a write off if you claim against the policy if you decide to repair it yourself and not go through your insurance it wont be logged as a write off!
  6. If the Headgasket is just starting to fail then I would personally change it now as generally when they do let go they end up mixing your coolant with your oil. It might be worth checking it's not your water/oil cooler thats causing them to diagnose a headgasket failure though as these are prone to failing and causing symptoms similar to headgasket failure ( water mixing with oil) The water/oil cooler sits straight above the oil filter and has 2 coolant pipes going into it, if you do suspect this as the problem you can get a connecting pipe and connect the 2 pipes together which will bypass it so you can see if it is that thats causing the problems. Is your G losing coolant and mixing with the oil which madse them suspect headgasket? Or did they do a compression test which revealed low pressures in 1 or more of the cylinders? If it is a headgasket failure it would be a weekend job for a novice, my first headgasket chjange took me a full day but I got there, it's just a case of getting all the bits needed for the job, learniong where all the timing marks are and taking your time to get it right. If you've got a torque wrench and a good socket set I dont see why anyone couldn't do the job!
  7. I had forgotten about that ferrari ( wasn't it on one of his vids) that was an awesome model!
  8. How cool is this!!! Micro V8 clicky here
  9. My mate is an MOT tester and he's done a few of my mates cars with decats in the past 6 months and he just puts his work beater on the emmisions tester instead of our cars and hey presto no problemo!!! It's not what you know it's who you know :D
  10. The good ol germans LOL clicky Good work :D :D :D :D
  11. This site clicky does red tops and yellow tops at reasonable prices. I'm looking at getting a red top in the very near future so if this gb can get them at a ggod price I'll be in for one.
  12. For Christmas my corrado got a new home all for the whopping sum of £200! Nice to have some driveway again as the gti also went to a new home, its the first time in 4 years that I only own one car!
  13. Get the pistons and rings off darren @ G-werks and get your bottem end bored to accomodate the new pistons, it will cost in region of £1100 all in for pistons, rebore, shells and gaskets. I would also get the flywheel lightened as well as that also makes a big difference in how the car drives!
  14. The celica T Sport is alot of fun with 190 bhp it pulls like a train when you hit the power band but unfotunately its a bit too high in the rev range for my liking 6200rpm iirc. The std 1.8 vvti celica with 140bhp is boring as hell I didn't like that one at all!
  15. Was tempted 8 months ago by an R33 gtst and I have to say I haven't regretted getting rid of the rado to get the liner once. I disagree that the build quality isn't upto to par, everything on the skyline is well placed and works flawlessly and they are extremely reliable. With over 300bhp it isn't a dull car to drive either as with a little acceleration and a quick flick you can have it going very sideways into a corner which is great fun. Rear wsheel drive cars rule!!! :D
  16. The Veyeon might have a slightly better finish, but if you look at the price difference you could afford to have the saleen a lamborghini and a ferrari all for the price of 1 veyron! hmmm 3 supercars sitting in your garage instead of just one!!
  17. I love the S7 better looking than the veyron imo
  18. Get a rad from a rado g60 with aircon they came with a rad thats much bigger
  19. http://www.pocketgpsworld.com/tomtom-go ... -mount.php these are the type of mounts you want to go for alot more sturdier
  20. again it's defo a fuse cant remeber which one though 14 or 15 spring to mind
  21. Try A-Plan (0845 0711234) for insurance on a skyline or any jap car for that matter! They are very competetive on they're pricing and were £500+ cheaper than any of the other companies I phoned. I'm paying roughly the same as what I was paying on the rado for the skyline which was a suprise! Supra though is a great choice I ve been thinking about one of them next or moving upto an R34 :D
  22. parcel2go (DHL) is who I ve just used to collect my wheels it cost £47 all in and they were delivered next day
  23. I dislike the way that its sitting on my drive taking up perfectly good room! ANYONE want a corrado rolling shell?
  24. attatch them to each of the 4 nuts on the front of the rocker cover thats where I put them
  25. When I bought mine I just bought the golf recall valve, it's the only one they list and if your stealer is competant enough would issue this one knowing it's exactly the same as what is fitted to the rado!!
