Thats dubsports mk3 twin vr6 turbo!
-
cool vid!! It looks like the rear bumper is actually a rs2 front bumper thats just been flipped round!!
-
Just quote them this number H 037 115 561 the only thing that makes it unique is that it has a nut cast into the casing to make it easier to get off, when it comes round to replacing it.

whats the most you have paid on your insurance premium?

£1800 tpft when I was 18 on my first mk2 gti 8v. The car was only valued at £900 as well  -
F*cking hell nikki I can't believe your cars been f*cked about with yet again. Get it in the garage and get a couple of decent padlocks.

removing steering wheel to put on a momo one help please
Banana Man replied to Rollyrob's topic in Interior
All you need to do is pull the centre horm pad from the top edge and disconnect the spaded terminal on the back of it. Then you need to grab the mounting plate behind the gold plate and give that a tug it isjust push fitted in that'll leave you with just the nut to undo iirc it's a !" nut or 25mm nut to undo it then the steering wheel will just pull off. -
Anyone enjoy going to Castle Combe well it could all be over

Nice work Shad looks stunning!

Did you change the top mount rubbers when you fitted the coilovers Graham? Thats the only thing other than the rear subframe being out of alignment that would cause rubbing on one side?
-
yeah they do http://www.ra-design.co.uk/

The G60 block IS an interferance engine as I found out when my pistons met exhaust valves!!!
-
http://www.tuning.co.uk/rieger/ good for reiger stuff not cheap fibreglass c*ap either
-
The ones on aebay are made from fibreglass though which is a no no in my book as past experience with fibreglass stuff has resulted in disapointment as they never fit properly. The ones with corrado inscripted into it looks tacky imo it's bit like the caddy that had it's tailgate inscripted with VOLKSWAGEN looks ok on them but not on a rado, but each to they're own I guess!
-
what size are the new wheels as I ve made them the same size as the original bbs's that are on it if you want them bigger I can do bigger!
-
R&A design do a competely flush tailgate panel made by mattig iirc it's £40 I need one also as some little scrote decided to snap mine off and nicked it along with my numberplate

Nugget Yellow bright enough for ya :D
-
have you thought about running a split charger and a second battery something like a red top or yellow top so that you dont drain your normal battery when running your stereo??
-
heres the diagrams I'm looking at on etka if thats any help to ya!
-
That nut part number is for a 10mm stud according to etka so it looks like that you have all the right part numbers for the job but that bolt certainly isn't right as you cant screw the M8 part that far into the head as it's way too long, it should be the opposite way round imo
-
Are the part numbers for the parts you have been given as follows? H 026 109 243L Thats the tensioner N 014 593 1 Thats the conversion bolt which should be 58mm long I think the stud on almost all 8v's is M10 as the nut size would indicate that as they use a 15mm head. What size spanner do you use to take off your tensioner nut?? An M8 stud would surely use a 13mm nut!!!!

I nearly bought this flash cleaning system at the weekend but decided to go with the more manual approach of washing and drying it in then end. Might give it a go next time if it's any good though.

Thanks you guys  Yes that is an oil cooler fitted with cable ties I had a slight incident a few weeks ago, with the one that was mounted in the factory intercooler space ie a fu*k off sized stone went through it and had to get that one in the pic mounted asap to keep the car on the road. Will get round to getting another 19 rower installed soon when funds permit. I'm looking to be hitting the pod at the end of this month now that I ve got the alignment and the new tyres fitted just to see how things have improved since the last time I was up there. If I break the 14.5 sec quarter I will know it's been worth all the effort. :D
