Cheers Cazza, with a little bit of tidying up it will be a good runaround for a little while, I'm not going to pile loads of cash into this one like I did with the nugget, just going to tidy a few bits up here and there, then I'll be happy..

HIC tried to stiff me for another £106 the other day, as the plonker on the other end wrote down 1976 instead of 1980 for my dob (wtf) so apparantly that made a £106 difference to the premium, even though I'm 31 with 9 years ncd, I told em to go back and listen to the recorded phone call, got a call back an hour later saying not to worry about it and they will cover the premium increase. I have also noticed they added a key care premium and personal care premium on top, which I never even got a choice of having, which came to a further £60, they are cheeky feckers, they try to releive you of as much money as they can!!!!! Cheers BristolB I didn't buy the one with the recaro's it was a bit too far from me, but it did look like a good deal I was tempted, but one came up not too far from me with a reasonable spec and a good price, its got recent spec 5 charger, front mount intercooler, fk coilovers, chip and pulley, atp alloys. I've fitted a set of new mk4 rear calipers this weekend so the handbrake actually works now also an fk badgless grille as the one it came with was a bit bodged (1st pic) and also a boost return bypass kit. So all in all its working out quite well really. Just a couple of pics

Alright Chris & Tom, hows tricks, I picked up a DBP G60 as a daily hack a couple of weeks ago, so Im back into ownership as well now.:) So you had my old leathers in for a little while before you sold your C then:) It was 2005 when I started to break my C, doesn't seem that long ago.. Insurance for C's hasn't got any cheaper though paying near on what I was paying 5 years ago, it actually costs less to insure my 450bhp skyline, figure that 1 out................ lol

Cheers mate (Steve isn't it? in my old age my memory has become really bad on names) I see there is still a few names I recognise on here, cant believe its been 5 years since parting out the old banana, I did see the shell up for sale on ebay a couple of years ago, the guy who bought it off me was going to install a 20v in it, but obviously plans changed, he had taken all the panels off, it was literally a bare shell, it saold for £26, I wonder if it got ever got rebuilt...... Cheers for the link BILLCOR that must have been added today as it wasn't on there last night, could be a good project as long as he can get the new dizzy on and get the car running, as its over 450 miles to get me home again. emailed the bloke so will see what he says

Hehe I live in East Grinstead which is only a couple of miles away I ve seen both of them cars! I see the R34 GTR on a regular basis!! You can come and clean mine for free if you want Nathan :D Outstanding work!!
-
Why you shouldn't live in the country! Oh Deer!!
Banana Man replied to nocrap's topic in General Car Chat
I managed to hit 3 out of 5 deer that ran out in front of me one night in my rado, 2 of them died instantly (went under the wheels) the other hobbled off into the bushes, I was expecting to find the front of my car stoved in but amazingly got away with only a cracked indicator!! (dont know how though) was very lucky they were only small deer, if it had of been the mother (that was a huge fecker) I dont think the damage would have been so minor! Good luck on the repairs!! -
Yeah might have would you want a lexan shell (paint inside) or ABS (paint outside) I will have a look to see what I ve got left!!! The abs ones are great jelly moulds :D
-
no he's still got itthats why he's still selling them, basically he ripped me off!! Still got a few abs shells and a couple of lexan shells in the cupboard tho I think as momentos
-
This brings back memories :D The above shell is the one I had Keith from Kamtec models make, as you couldn't get one anywhere else, it took a few months to make and over 40 people off of this forum bought one in the GB I set up. The ones you have seen on ebay will be taken from the same mold, as I dont know of anyone else that makes a corrado shell in 1/10th scale. IIRC it was a tl-01 that Keith used. I just provided a schabak model and an hpi viper shell for him to work with. Still pisses me off that he started selling the shells on ebay and his website though as the deal was I paid him £500 for the tooling and production of 40 shells and the sole rights to the mold for future purchases, but after a few months after the mold was complete he started selling them on ebay
-
Obviously he never paid the bloke who's land its on for the storage as its the land owner that selling it :D Good on him I say but its still worthless as there are hardly any salvageable parts on it!!
-
That would be why he has disappeared, no one has seen or heard of him since the 15th. Good riddance imo
-
Another thread showing what a complete co*k this bloke really is!!! http://www.skylineowners.com/forum/show ... hp?t=56873
-
It wont be very hard to find him theres enough people down here that he's made enemies of!!! Hope they make an example of him tbh he's already got 6 points so if his license is endorsed with points its likely he'll lose his license. T@at!!!!

And they also said that it was a VW R32!!! Funny looking Golf LOL
-
It's not mine mate but I will be buying a copy, I have posted up the article wording for you :)

This is the complete wording from the article if your interested!! this is the artice wording from the argus. DETECTIVES are investigating a boy racer who crashed his car into a tree then bragged about on a website. A driver calling himself Paul from Hove posted dramatic photographs of his smashed-up motor at Sussexcarz.com He then boasted he had been driving at 70mph in a 40mph zone on icy Sussex road and had not been wearing a seat belt. "Paul" says he could enter the incident for "crash of the year 2007". He has pasted pictures of himself by his VW Golf R32 and close-ups of the smashed-in boot, dented roof, interior covered in broken glass and crunched-up bonnet. The site shows him jokingly posing at the scence of the crash with his head in his hands, as wellas car parts, including half a bumper, lights and wing mirrors found scattered at the scene. Another user of the site, calling himself Rob from Uckfield, posted a reply saying he admired him for being able to make fun of himself. Chief Inspector Jim Taylor from sussex police said a team was investigating the website. He said "This websibe is highly irresponsible. He admits driving at nearlydouble the speed limit on icy roads with no seat belt and from the images of the car, he is lucky to escape with his life. "Our job with the road policing department is to try to reduce casualties but this website seems to glorify road traffic accidents. "Myself and colleagues have this week alone had to deal with nine very serious and fatal RTA's. Sussexcarz.com also known has SMCC bills itself as "one of the largest regional modified car clubs in england. it says as well as attracting members from sussex it also attracts interest from acorss the UK and abroad.
