Are there any left? Might as well have one seeing as mine's on there  I'll send payment now :salute: -
The spring rates would most likely be the same, it's the better damping that makes the ride better on more expensive coilovers. For example my old Weitecs had 400lb/280lb springs on and were too crashy for me, but the same spring rates on Kev's KW V3's (£1100+ coilovers) and the ride is great, firm but not crashy at all! You could get softer spring rates for your streets though which might take the edge off, would cost about ~£40 per corner for new springs, find out the rates you have on now and then just opt for slightly softer.

My sis calls mine 'Fagan' because the number plate ends in FGN  I just call it every swear word under the sun most days
-
Yeah I was thinking this, would be great if we could do this!

Hmmmmm same as my Weitec's  maybe they're not fucked after all then! -
Here's a few of mine, I've got high res versions too 8)

Looks awesome Mic! :luvlove: I'm not jealous at all of them brakes ... Great choice of wheel too ;)
-
 Have no complaints with mine.
-
Link? I'm assuming you're on about the MED's  I've got the MED's and I loved the difference they made to the steering. Just the bearings don't last all that long, but tbh mine have been in a while now and bearings still seem ok.

Are they the correct tyre sizes though? 205/50/15?
-
Have you got different size wheels on to standard? What tyre sizes are you running? The speedo usually over-reads a small amount anyway, but if you have incorrect size tyres/wheels then they will put the speedo out even more.

Stopped by police for being too low....
herisites replied to Fulltimejunglist's topic in General Car Chat
I've been pulled over once for driving like a tit in my old fiesta, although in my defense it was down an empty road very late at night. It was a police woman who pulled me and she was BOOOOOMING!! Tbh I was a young lad and sh*tting my brick so I was nothing but apologetic but I told her I'd try and get pulled more often if they all looked like her  -
R32 and other 24v swapped corrado's fuel consumption

Easier said than done though in an R32 conversion with it's over sensitive throttle! -

Similar figures to mine really and mines also mapped to just under 280bhp and I only use V-Power which is £1.23/litre. -

I NEVER drive mine conservatively though really unless I'm on a run and even then I don't sit at 70! I rarely do runs though, my daily journey is busy town, then depending on how gay the traffic is being either a very fast blast down a dual carriageway or sitting in stop start traffic for a long time down a dual carriageway, then busy town again. I reckon I'm only getting ~20mpg most days I used to get high 20's even 30mpg out of the VR (standard) and I'm definitely filling up a lot more often now with the R32. But I'm not really complaining, I don't see the point in having a fast car to then complain about how much fuel it's using you have to expect it really  If mine needs fuel I fill it up  -

Yep mine DRINKS the fuel mate so you're not alone there, I also thought there might be something wrong with mine but after speaking with other R32 owners etc it's just a thirsty engine :( 25 is probs better than I'm getting I reckon I only get low 20's, but then I'm always giving it some  -
Yep same here, if they're on the road when I am then I hate them

Yeah but with a ridiculous price to come with it! If it's just a case of lowering the BJ and TRE the same amount then I'm sure it wouldn't take much working out to come up with the measurements to drop each by and then make up something for a LOT less! For example, using the ~£20 tie rod flip kit to flip the TRE's, measure how much they lower the TRE's by and then use that measurement for lowering the BJ's the same. Surely that's all that's needed to be done, or am I being thick? Yeah he did, but IIRC his front wheels with only 16's on were rubbing the front of the arch (front bumper).

Thought I'd spread the word about a band from my area that I know, they're not signed or anything yet but getting quite popular round our way so would be good to get some more interest from further afield. Really good bunch of guys, I play with them sometimes as they hold open jam nights. They're called Jack Rabbit, and they're style is very Ska based, really addictive music, I love it even though it's not my usual style of music (I'm in to GNR, Stones, Aerosmith etc). Their Facebook is http://www.facebook.com/jackrabbitmusic Here's my fav song of theirs, and yes there is a violin player 8) [youtube:kq7gnrmt]gfhf4o4SD5o[/youtube:kq7gnrmt] And another good one of theirs: [youtube:kq7gnrmt]wl2pNrOTH6g[/youtube:kq7gnrmt] Oh and they recorded these songs in one of their's lounge so not the best production but still pretty good
