Are these available at the moment guys? Will more than likely need a set in the near future... 8) -
Had a good root through the search but there's only info regarding the Ibiza Cupra R 4x100 setup. What I need to know is whether a 288mm setup (carriers, calipers, disks and pads) from a 57 plate Ibiza will fit the VR? Been told the disks are 5x100, but will the carriers/calipers be a direct fit?

can't wait any longer! just bought my london to kidderminster ticket.... :D at fujitsu? i was supporting and repairing fujitsu-siemens computers and laptops... whhhhy? I worked for a time at Fujitsu's Network Management Centre in Solihull, just wondering if you were a Transmission bod like myself... Hope it's worth the wait when you get it back mate! The pics say it certainly will be!!

Lookin good Kris! Bet you can't wait to pick it up? P.S. (from another thread) what did you do for Fujitsu?
-
Got to agree with Kev Alex, I'd have to go with a VW roundel, plus you can source them far easier, when you lose one, or have one/all of them nicked!!
-
If it's going 2.5-3k cheaper, then buy it, sell it on, and partially fund the VRT project? Depends how easily/quickly you could get shot of it I suppose...

Looks very nice mate, what you had the wing mirrors from? US spec front bumper looks very subtle too 8)

From in the engine bay mate. If you get the passenger side undertray out, and pull the carpet in the passenger footwell down and out of the way, you'll see the grommet. Comes out in a bit of an awkward place in the bay though! Had fun doing mine single handed, an extra pair of hands would have helped loads! Good luck! Edit: Beat me to it Jon!

Can make it on for about 830 guys...

The search is really easy dude, for example, the search I did for you, I entered +carbon +canister +removal. When you add the + symbol before the search word, the results that are returned HAVE TO contain the word that you prefixed with the + symbol. Simples!

The search is your friend... :D viewtopic.php?f=1&t=54659

Mines a daily, I like to drive her too much to leave her tucked up and use anything else. Added to the fact that I don't actually have a garage to keep her in! Vera gets it, no matter what the weather. Wind rain or shine!

Yeah sorry, I was thinking of my old 16v! :D

The horns are located behind the grill in the centre of the slam panel, pop the grill off you'll see them, get a multimeter on the end of the leads and see if you get voltage when you press the horn. HTH

Need to replace injector seals on 1.8 valver! But How
mattnorgrove replied to joby's topic in Engine Bay
Had this happen to me on my old KR. I used a suitable self tapping screw, quite a short one, securely taped to the end of a long bladed Phillips screwy. Then pulled the screw/injector cap out with long nosed pliers. Took minutes to do, and breathed a heavy sigh of relief afterwards. I used replacement injectors from eBay from a Merc, without the end caps afterward. Ran beautifully. HTH -
 really pleased for you mate! Well done for sticking at it, think i would've given up long ago!!

Yeah thinking about it I could do with the 14th as a week of 'travelling to the next circuit..' As or cars/next race series, given that the Tuesday league offers a wider variety of cars I would quite like to run a single type (Corrado obviously) series with a limited but fixed tune for everyone. We can race other cars for a bit of fun (could have a guest car on the same track every week) but I don't want the guest car to contribute to the league scoring, thoughts? Fixed tune has to be the way forward, too much time wasted tuning instead of racing. We could all take a stock Corrado, and use the quick tune option up to Class C maybe? Surely that would make all cars have the same upgrades? It'd raise the PI to 425 though, not too much difference there though really. Then leave as default, all the tune setup options?? Yan would that be do-able in the race rules settings?? As for the 14th, are we all agreed on a week off, and finish the season on the 21st? Or shall we finish this season this Sunday? I'm easy either way....
