Checked this out this morning & it is indeed similar to the brake fluid plug, though there is already on on that & this one wouldn't fit. Not a bad guess though, cheers. :) Anyone else got any ideas what this might be?
-
Interested to hear how you get on with this one as I still having similar problems with my VR.

I've just been out & tried, and for the life of me, I can't get the damn hairdryer plug to fit, maybe I need an adapter!?! :) As far as I'm aware, the car hasn't had aircon, but I think I'm the 4th owner now, so I guess it's possible? As for the Brake Fluid reservoir, I'll take a looky at that tomorrow, though on previous inspections I've not seen anywhere for it to go. Mind you, I've just been looking for a loose wire in the past, so that could well be where it's from? You are righ though, it's a short loom, so it can't be far from it's intended connection. Cheers guys. Doug

Bump...

Is the one Jim mentioned here not any good to you Goldie?
-
I guess some extra info might have helped! It's a '95 VR & the wires are green and brown. If you could take a look, that would be great, cheers.

Oooh matron...

I've been meaning to ask this for ages, but in my old age, I keep on forgetting. Can anyone tell me what this wire is in the picture? It looks like it should be attached to something, unfortunately, I have no idea what? Please excuse the dirty engine bay pic.

Yeah Nikki's looks great but at £300 a side its not feasable! Hence why im asking if its possible to just roll whats left! I will eventually get them flared but cant justify it now as want the charger first and then gotta save to pay off the insurance! As well as get a mk1   There's that old problem of priorities again!! Could you not consider holding off with the charger for a couple of months so that you can get the arches flared? Sucky I know as you don't see much for your £600 (ie no big shiny thing under the bonnet!!), but a car thats not stripping tyres surely should be a priority?? Just my tuppence worth. :)

Temp not showing, overheating..? Intermittent starting.

This might help ya. -
It is indeed a great advert. I wonder if they ate it afterwards... :)

Interested in hearing about this as I think mine might be on the way out too. :(

I've received a few requests to join over the past few months, but never bothered. Now that the Corrado Forum is on there I had to join! My name is my Sunday name: Douglas Bennett. Now all I need is some friends.... :(

Wow! So exactly how many Cs have you had now then??
-
Replaced the serpentine belt. Maybe I can have a peaceful journey for once!?!
-
Where about are you in the Borders mate? I went to school in Gala, many moons ago now it seems!
-
Taking a wild stab in the dark here, as I'm a bit of a technical neewbie, but it could maybe be the water pump packing in?
-
Bargain! Will look forward to photos of them re-furbed. Heresites has the Brock B2s done in a lovely graphite colour on his Blackberry VR, they look the nuts! 8) Edit: In fact, I think thats his motor on the forum banner just now!!
-
In wasnt really gonna give the game away but nevermind... This is what the finsihed article is looking like.... The aerial has arrived by the way Bill, thanks for the info, well happy with it.... 8) As an alternative, there was a post the other day where there are aluminium "Corrado" script badges available. It might have been Jim that posted it?
-
Why? :? There should be a law against butchering a C!
-
Yup, thats pretty much spot on!!:) I remember reading all the posts on the cost of running a Corrado before I bought mine, the reality is probably worse than expected!! However, I wouldn't change it for the world!
